This is my first full landscape project that I painted for a skillshare course. It was frustrating at times but I really enjoyed working through the multiple steps of this painting. I wanted to see what I could do it I pushed myself and I am happy with the final painting. I need to focus some more study on trees in the future, I like how the foreground tree came out, the forest edge was much more difficult. About a year and a bit ago, I bought myself a copy of the very first Miffy book by Dick Bruna from Paper Tiger because as I often say, why not? And as many of you know I’m still a big kid at heart, hahaha. More to the point, the style’s similar to my own and naturally… inspiration intensified today!

I was feeling a bit down the other day. I needed to draw something to make me feel better.

So my mom gave me some watercolor paper, and I decided to paint one of my sibling's characters they made for me. This character is NOT mine!!! Also sorry for the spotty quality I have a bad camera on my laptop.
