Inktober 4: Grimoire

The first of my little house doodles, on watercolour board with fineliner pens.

Quite often I’ll get ambushed with flyers and the like whilst out and about. Thankfully, I have use for said materials.

Sure, I went to a lot of witch burnings as a teen, but I learned what gettin roasted REALLY means in my 30s

I painted HP Lovecraft and Edgar Allan Poe in order to spook up Halloween. I'll probably do Stephen King, too, at some point, and maybe Shirley Jackson. Anyone have any other favorite horror novelists?

For Inktober this year, I am following along with Lisa Congdon’s CreativeBug course. I’ve made a few extra rules for myself for an extra challenge which includes trying to maintain a mostly black and white theme. Excited to see where it takes me.

I've combined Inktober and Drawlloween to create a bunch of big ink-wash paintings of horror themes. I'm really excited about these!!! I can't wait to have 31!
