I've started a new sketch book (one of many, lol), which I am dedicating to ink drawings only. No pencils, no watercolours, just pen and ink :) I drew this doodle today with a Uniball pen and a light ink wash for the space sky. No reference, totally made up. Mistakes and all! Available as stickers and other goodies on Red Bubble.

Pop art ink drawing in red, pink, and violet hues. The subject is the palm of a hand and curled fingers. The background has blue, green, and turquoise stripes contrasting the colors of the hand. This artistic drawing style uses non local color to create form in the palm hand drawing.

This sketchbook spread features a stylized pattern of colorful poppy flowers. The garden of flowers includes leaves of green, yellow and peach. The flowers are yellow with blue stems. The drawing as a whole has a whimsical and playful feel with a bright color scheme, polka dots and organic squiggle shapes, and blobs of seemingly random colors. This started off as a black ink drawing, but after scanning into my computer, I played around in Pixelmator to add the background and some effects to achieve the final result. This was going to be my first attempt at either Inktober ot Artober. Many thanks for looking !
