Colloquially known as the "Gypsies of Fey," Farthings are small woodland creatures most commonly seen in abandoned or forgotten settlements where the natural elements have begun to reclaim the landscape. As a race, they can trace their lineage back to both faerie and goblinkind, but are not fully accepted by either branch of their family tree. Combining elements of each of their progenitors with attributes of other woodland inhabitants, Farthings vary widely in both color and physiognomy.

Beginning. The bird had a pair of sunglasses she used exclusively to daydream. Today she dreamed about blueberries. It seemed strange - maybe - to daydream about them while sitting under a blueberry bush, but the bird thought it made them sweeter. It depicts a friendly alien species who, having travelled light years across space, shared the fruits of their knowledge with us, and assimilated into human life as best they could, is still confronted with one of those age-old questions of ignorance.
