Fisher Friends, an oil painting of a Kingfisher, is inspired by cherished childhood memories spent by the River Tyne. This piece pays homage to the joy of growing up close to nature—the serene beauty of the river, the excitement of spotting wildlife, and the rare delight of seeing a Kingfisher.

This scene was inspired by my walk home from work on Monday evening. The Moon was already high up. The weather was windy. The clouds were passing by fast, giving me a glimpse of the Moon here and there. A pretty ominous scene, if you ask me. Size: 2x2 inches.
Inspired by the one and only Prince of Darkness (Ozzy Osbourne). I listened to a L O T of Ozzy while drawing this one. So He's definitely the sole inspiration for her.
I always enjoy making characters, but with a traditional medium, this is my first digital character design or more of a cartoon. This character is inspired by the vampire genre with the color scheme of pink and blue, the cartoony inspiration is from television series such as adventure time, Rick and Morty, and midnight gospel.

Inspired by a little rabbit I've seen from the car one morning. While I was driving, the little bunny was hopping along the countryside. I was a a very peaceful and happy scene, the little guy living in its own little world, of which I only could get this one quick glimpse. All the other details remain to imagination..... This is one of my favorite pieces. This was inspired by Repo! The Genetic Opera, but it means a lot more to me as well. Feelings of desperation and also a feeling of self control that really isn't there. Forcing myself to smile and all the while, feeling hollow inside.

I was on the fence about posting this one, but I've been very moved by the testimonies of those who prior in their lives seemingly had no hope. While you live and breathe, there is hope.
Inspired by my recent trip to Korea, which I intentionally went this season to catch the cherry/plum/peach blossoms. As I observed the zigzagness of the tree branches, I see in it the number of roads/mis-roads I had to take, as someone unfamiliar with the land, to get to a good bloom spot. Which kinda reminds me of life. I felt I just had to do this piece.
