This is another illustration with someone just sitting outside enjoying the day or night. This is not someone existing it’s just some female character. Great to make this more elaborate in terms of styles while adding beautiful effects.
In this drawing, I was striving to capture the spirit of contemplation and reflection, a sort of spiritual sojourn, an ancient practice of pilgrimage, focusing on subjects of transcendent nature, and exploring destinations of spiritual significance. (words taken from scholarlysojourns.com). It is a self-portrait (me as a 14-year-old boy). We had just moved from Mequon to Rhinelander. It was then that I began to romanticize the natural beauty of Mequon. But at the same time, I was falling in love with the beauty of Rhinelander. In this picture, I am walking through the countryside of Mequon. The stringed musical instruments symbolize my love for the progressive classical and folk-tinged acoustic and orchestral music that was coming out of England in the late 60s and early 70s, specifically the quieter pieces of music performed by the Moody Blues, Emerson Lake and Palmer, Yes, and Jethro Tull. A song called Reasons for Waiting by Jethro Tull is a good accompanying piece for this drawing.
Another beautiful illustration of imaginative style and earthly tones! This is not a real scenery it just combines sea and mountains with buildings and creature like mountains with fishy style elements or wings and this into a night sky.
Another pleasant illustration for today! Who does not like a little break at the strand without having any cars or boats or anything distracting around. Just some beautiful way to spend outside. And why not.
I love the song Blackbird by Paul McCartney. But, blackbirds are very territorial when they have young ones in the nest. There is a sunny tree-lined path I like to walk in the summer. I have seen a fox running out of those woods, a doe lying in the sun-drenched grass, and an irate couple of blackbirds diving at my head while I was peacefully walking by their nest of young ones. I had to start carrying a stick to ward them off. Blackbird Fly! Just stay away from me!
Another illustration for today! I will tell you a little story. Once upon a time there was a very bad monstrous employer. They hacked all my emails. Trespassed human rights in every way. Shame none of them made it to be an artist! Haha! They held a grudge and spread it like jam everywhere! I shall make a picture book someday! This is not them by the way! I just saw a circus tent and thought:Hmm I can make a demon oc out of it and behold!I didn't use the classic red and white colors mainly because I'm not a fan of red I did use blue however.I was going to give him circle eyes but then Fiore Pazzo (the flower demon has them) so I used different shaped eyes instead,one bigger than the other to emphasize his insanity.he and him have very similar personalities although cirko is a little smarter than him.both of them love collecting the souls of children the star demon (glistles) enjoys playing with children rather than to torment them.
This is the second painting of my dragon series, and it was actually the moment at which I decided to make it a series. It was at the beginning of this year when I was trying to decide on a topic for a series to exhibit. I had gone through quite a few subject matters and even started researching on one of them, when I got really mad at a relative's attitude and just felt the need to paint a dragon. And with a second finished dragon piece in hand, I said: "This is it. I'm gonna make a series on dragons."
Yet another self portrait. Whenever I am questioning my artistic abilities, I draw a self portrait to remind myself that I can draw but that I just need to familiarise myself with the subject matter.
