I’ve had the new Kings of Leon album Can We Please Have Fun on repeat lately. And my favorite song off that album is Split Screen which inspired this piece.

Fisher Friends, an oil painting of a Kingfisher, is inspired by cherished childhood memories spent by the River Tyne. This piece pays homage to the joy of growing up close to nature—the serene beauty of the river, the excitement of spotting wildlife, and the rare delight of seeing a Kingfisher.

Kings crowning. Made me think of the animated Robin Hood by Disney, where the crown was to big for the head of lion John, but it held on his ears.

I always enjoy making characters, but with a traditional medium, this is my first digital character design or more of a cartoon. This character is inspired by the vampire genre with the color scheme of pink and blue, the cartoony inspiration is from television series such as adventure time, Rick and Morty, and midnight gospel. To me this not only makes me chortle but actually makes sense... while to others they look for meaning & probably don't realize that as long as they r looking forward i am pleased no matter what their discovery or personal meaning. Just the notion they r intrigued makes me happy,

Decided to attempt at working with shadows on a small self-portrait

I was expirimenting with lighting, and it kind of ended up looking like she was staring into a campfire. That, combined with the puffy jacket, and it turned into a camping scene. Always open to feedback, thanks!
