Taking this pic was challenging finding the right light for the moon and the stars pop up more imo and my frog was hard to color but I love how the lake came out with the shines from the moon and fireflies. I even took the time to paint some tall grass and reeds in the background ^^ hope you like!
Some times my doodles require more than one medium and so I combine sketches with digital and some times raw mediums like charcoal and watercolors. This is ball point pen in a sketch book of many diverse doodles.
Soft pastels on pastel mat. I got a set of pastels as a birthday present, so I had to try it. It's quite different from working with ink. I like the colors but I am searching for a better way do do the eyes and the horns.

Superstition : Fishing.
One of the strangest sea fishing superstitions says that if a fisherman and his wife have a quarrel and fight just before he goes to sea then he can expect a good catch. The argument though, must develop naturally, and not be staged deliberately, and if a man actually draws blood from his wife then he can expect an especially large haul.

We took the Tuesday after Memorial Day off and rode bikes into GG Park. We found a mostly empty patch of green to picnic and play across from the Conservatory of Flowers. Our social distancing signs are blue with four white arrows pushing four people apart. Every time I look at them, I think, what if people think the length of those arrows is actually 6 feet? What do yours look like?

Life gives us too much work sometimes. Here's a minimalistic and simple splash of milk to brighten your day. Pastel colours that softens the image and allows you to feel relaxed. This was my big project this weekend, my first attempt at a large full body horse. The picture was requested by a horse lover like myself and I can’t wait to give it to her. Done in pencil on an 18x24in sketch pad.
It's official. I've gone to the dark side and fallen in love with acrylic gouache - specifically the Liquitex one. Geometric pen drawing detailed with stippling. What started out as a simple mountain doodle turned out to be a bit more chaotic than I'd anticipated but I like the end result!

A commission that didn't work out. They had something specific in mind but hadn't relayed that. I will learn to ask more questions in the future :) live and learn! I'll likely post the new one when it's done.
Pencil on Paper. Doing portraits is difficult for me...I never seem to be able to capture a persons likeness in a drawing, however if that person is wearing a helmet...

I was assigned in art class to draw/paint/whatever something to do with reset... at first I, just like everyone else, pictured a reset button. After some thinking though, I remembered how each time my family moved from state to state, it was like I had a reset button, a fresh new start. Also, haha fun fact, the random sharpie lines were a result from listening to fast pace rock.
