For some reason I tried some floral drawings, of different shapes, and I also used mixtures of different colors to produce hues of green. The first page - it’s a mix of the cobalt blue (PB 28) and cadmium yellow medium (PY 35). On the second one there is ultramarine (PB 29) for the blue color and the same yellow paint. To me, it seems the difference is very little but I’ve got the color closest to the ‘normal’ green using Cobalt rather than ultramarines. The latter gave either to yellowish to olive hues or too blueysh
I wax specific areas (paint with wax) and light from the back...in the end it will be in a glass frame to hang in a window....tben the waxed areas will glow!!!

After the success of last year's birth month flower drawings and the products I made with them, I decided to continue drawing flowers - this time it's all the state flowers and state insects. I'm a little behind on the insects.
It's ok to not make sense. It's ok to not follow a pattern. It's ok to be the odd one out.
Life is too beautiful, too amazing, to eccentric, too weird to fit inside someone else's tiny little box of an opinion about you. Break free out of that and live your life on your terms.
The observational sketch was done in ink. One of my few urban sketches. The grandeur of the entire cathedral was too large for me to capture in my drawing but here's a little of what I did.
