Return of the space whales (yet again)!

Getting inspired by Blixa Bargeld from Einsturzende Neubaten and Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, as you do!

Tonight, I’m getting ideas from Lando Calrissian and all things Star Wars… :-)

Much Ultravox was listened to as I made this particular one…

That I am, hahaha!

This little pine cone was missing one side and looks like it’s been eaten, revealing a repeating pattern in the centre of the cone.

Inwardly things…

Something pertaining to twins and symmetry (figuratively speaking)…

Ghosts and films! Is it October already?

There are only a few lovely large pine trees near my home in the Southwest of Western Australia. This little sprig was found on a walk where there was only the one pine tree in amongst the other trees.

Drawing of a banksia nut from the nearby forest in the Southwest of Western Australia.

Testing out new processes printing leaves using block printing ink.

A experimental combination of abstract, geometric lines with organic shapes of gum leaves. Pen, watercolour and masking fluid.

Tucker Mandarin is very happy with his portrait! :-)

So begins October! It’s gonna be an adventure, that’s for sure… :-)

And thus ended another month… onto Samhuinn month we go!

Warm and cool winds mixing and blowing over sand ridges. A memory from living on the edge of a desert in Western Australia. Sometimes, walking the early morning the air is still cool in the shade of the trees, but the moment you step out into the sun, it is already hot.

This week’s narwhal and cat collage I’ve been procrastinating over like mad, wouldn’t be like me…

Lunch time and a spot of music = this.

Sharks and undead cats unite :-)

A busy day today in the studio continuing to experiment with the addition of colour.

First one is a random doodle, I need to finish. 2nd doodle is an Oomkin (Or Boomkin) very happy and thrilled to get a lot of food. Third doodle is of an owlbear.
