Casually racing through it with all the drawings… hence why it’s new sketchbook time already, hahaha! As we leave spring behind, meet “Summer Eyes”.

As I reflect on my past experiences, I am accutely aware of how often I have spoken from opinion rather than from experience. I have made mistakes. This makes me think of the Mark Twain quote -"Good judgement comes from experience. Experience comes from bad judgement." Let's go out and get some experience, shall we?

Then we began our underground life. We walked around in our nighties and did nothing. Mummy didn't draw. We were bears with pine needles in our stomachs and anyone who dared come near our winter lair was torn to pieces. We were lavish with the wood, and threw log after log on to the fire until it roared. Sometimes we growled. #17 Woodland Creatures - "Woodland Creatures" was the theme on Magma.com today. I decided to go with a giant turtle, but I have to say I'm not very happy with the way this turned out. Hopefully better results next time...

After forcing myself through some long lasting 100 layer paintings, just doing a quick two day one feels refreshing. I will hang this one on the wall, but for the bigger version im gonna make a more natural looking fox cub.
