Living, breathing, and creating with nature
When you wake up to the gentle sights and sounds of the pond, trees, plants, birds, bees, and dragonflies, inspiration flows effortlessly. So, when the owner asked for a menu design for @SarayaGoa Art Café, I thought—why not let nature speak for itself?
Using pen and ink, I captured the beauty of my mornings here—each stroke reflecting the lush surroundings that make Saraya unique. Instead of focusing on just food items, I filled the cover and inside pages with illustrations of the vibrant life around us. Dining here means eating among the green, surrounded by the diverse plants of our permaculture gardens.
This study is a tribute to the beauty that shapes every meal at Saraya.

"The Marzipan Pig" by Russell Hoban is one of my favorite books. During the pandemic, @pgoedi from @communitybookstore read it and I drew it. Found it again and wanted to share it.
This makes me want to draw live again. It is such a nerve racking thing and so fun!

This was an exercise in taking a photo that was quite dark and foreboding and turning it into a happy looking illustration. I'm slowly getting my head around how to make my work look like illustration instead of "fine art". This is watercolour and colour pencil.
To be perfectly honest, the latest lockdown announcement here in Scotland was bound to influence my art in some form or another...
Needless to say this is going to be one looooong winter, one that’ll have me blasting “Here Comes The Sun” by The Beatles once it ends, or at the very least stabilises.
The background of this painting is created by these two girls. I had daughters of a friend paint a canvas and then I painted them into their painting. It could be a commentary on modern art, but it's ore just for fun and makes for a cool image.
I genuinely can't believe it's already March (I also can't believe it'll be a year since the pandemic really started). Yesterday also marked one year since I started journaling, which isn't an actual major thing, but still. How quickly time flies and how big of a difference a year can make. "And when it rains, the rain falls down Washing out the cattle town But she's quite safe up far away in her eiderdown And she dreams of crystal streams Of days gone by when we would lean Laughing, fit to burst, on each other."
So, the shorter animatronics that I posted earlier were actually the second versions of those animatronics. I redrew them because of... how they looked, I guess. Their proportions were way off. This animatronic is the third version of one of the animatronics, Elizabeth. I was planning on making more of these guys, to update them all, but it takes hours to make these guys, because I also have to make the endoskeleton for them. So, right now, Advanced Elizabeth sits in Jester's workshop, where she'll be alone for as long as I don't make another advanced animatronic. Personally, I think these look a lot nicer, but the second versions (the ones I posted) have a certain charm to them. I'm also working on the right stage animatronics, the red fox and the DJ. He wanders the fields, the mountains an the forest. With a little bit of luck, you can meet him and he will make a little concert. These little guys met him at the river. this is a drawing i stared aloong time ago. Now i decided to finish iit. when you look at the second picture, you can see the reference i used. It was really cool to play around with it :)

I think I kind of cheated by adding a bit of yellow and gray, but I do like how it turned out. I usually don't make many pieces like this, and there wasn't much of a plan going into this. It was a bit refreshing to do this.
Inktober Day 25 - Tasty - That time when Arya stopped by the inn where Hot Pie worked. He still makes tasty pies but now Arya knows how to make pies as well!

This artwork was requested by @lanahyawnuwuw. You asked for people in dresses, I give you people in dresses! Except now I want someone to use this for a movie. I can just imagine one of the trailer scenes: a guy talking to someone and says “what are they gonna do? They’re just girls with guns.” And he proceeds to get shot by one of them who comes into the room. Someone please make this into a movie.
Forgot to collar her collar gold but I guess black looks good too.she is a very talented,kind hearted, generous blue ghost who is also the co owner of the snazzy bar.she is older than Al (40 years old) and develops feelings for him later on they remain best friends instead.I guess you can say he friend zoned her,despite Al not knowing what being friend zoned is.He does date Ottalie this however does not make Alamea jealous.
