I made this drawing on environment day and wanted to upload it on that day itself....but forgot it :-P.....But doesn't matters...each day one should cherish the nature ^_^
The woods in my backyard. This has been a shit year so far, don't cha think? I get a few minutes relief by looking into the dark spaces between sunlit trees. Trying to see the forms. I'm hoping to get better at just that this summer.
Multi media: inks sprayed on sketchbook, brush markers, and fine liners seeking out shapes via negative painting. Then plonking about a bit, until sleep finally embraced me.
We took the Tuesday after Memorial Day off and rode bikes into GG Park. We found a mostly empty patch of green to picnic and play across from the Conservatory of Flowers. Our social distancing signs are blue with four white arrows pushing four people apart. Every time I look at them, I think, what if people think the length of those arrows is actually 6 feet? What do yours look like?
Some fashion Sketches today - they go as a pair together, so that’s why they’re are edited into the same pic ( cos i don’t have doodleaddicts pro lmaoo). Unfinished value study for a painting, worked in graphite on hot pressed watercolor paper. Drafted and rendered using the Bargue method. Hopefully, I got the photo oriented correctly so that the drawing will be right side up, once I upload it! If anyone has advice for photographing a heavy application of graphite, without getting weird reflectiveness, or speckled effects, I’m very interested!
Life gives us too much work sometimes. Here's a minimalistic and simple splash of milk to brighten your day. Pastel colours that softens the image and allows you to feel relaxed.
