New character I made for Taured. He can phase in and out of shadows: like, if he runs at a wall (or even walks), he can turn into a 2D shadow, which can travel at high speeds, morph into different shapes, and when he's done, he can just pop out whenever he wants to. His mouth is way bigger than normal; but for the sake of the rest of Taured's population, the government has sealed his mouth shut, side from a small section in the middle. The scars on his neck are not open and bleeding; they're just opening up to reveal a vibrant red energy within. Drawn with FireAlpaca.

Victory Through Prayer Medium: Water Color Markers on Illustration Board Size 2' x 4' Year completed: 1991 This illustration is part of a collection of artwork I did while in the military entitled, "The Army Years", I served in the Army National Guard for 5 years, and the regular Army for 4 years. One of the main reasons I got out of the military is because I didn't have much time to do my artwork. While I was stationed in Germany I did a few posters, and banners for a German/ American Playhouse, and I was in a European art show. This illustration was done during The Desert Shield / Desert Storm, during this war, many soldiers were afraid that our military equipment would fail to function due to the desert sand. While I was stationed in Germany, I attended a Christian hospitality house, that ministered to military personnel, and their families. I knew and heard of soldiers who died or were wounded in the war, we prayed for God's protection for those we knew were in harm's way. I believe the reason the casualties were low for the collision force is that God gave them a swift victory on the battlefield. No one should think that it was just might, and smart bombs, Iraq had the 4th largest military in the world. The Bible teaches that God causes the rise and the fall of nations. Decoding the symbolism : The " v " with lightning bolt shooting out of it =God giving the collision forces victory over Iraq's military. The large bold eagle with the arrows in its right talon, and with it's left talon open to attack, = the U.S. attacking Iraq. The banner made up of the flag of the collision, tie to the eagle's open talon= The U.S. leading the collision nation in the war against Iraq. The necklace with the cross attached to it, around the eagle's neck = God protect around the U.S. forces, the result of intercessory prayer of Christians. The flag of Iraq illustrated in the shape of the geological area mass of country, being shattered by the lighting = God judging Iraq, by giving the collision power to conquer Iraq and occupy her land. Be Hold the Lamb of God Medium: Acrylic on canvas size:11”x12” Date 2019-2020 Artist: Stephen J. Vattimo This illustration is done for a mural portraying the earthly ministry of Jesus the Christ. This is number 8, out of 9 illustraitions. This illustration portrays Jesus after he dies on the cross. Biblical reference : Mark 15 : 33-39 33 At noon, darkness came over the whole land until three in the afternoon. 34 And at three in the afternoon Jesus cried out in a loud voice, “Eloi, Eloi, lema sabachthani?” (which means “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”).[b] 35 When some of those standing near heard this, they said, “Listen, he’s calling Elijah.” 36 Someone ran, filled a sponge with wine vinegar, put it on a staff, and offered it to Jesus to drink. “Now leave him alone. Let’s see if Elijah comes to take him down,” he said. 37 With a loud cry, Jesus breathed his last. 38 The curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. 39 And when the centurion, who stood there in front of Jesus, saw how he died,[c] he said, “Surely this man was the Son of God!” In doing my research : I found out that the crown of thorns might have been a cap, than a wreath. I t is my opinion that Mel Gibson’s portrayal of the brutality the Roman soldier inflicted on the body of Jesus, through the beatings and the 39 lashes with the cat of nine tails. This event was never visually captured in arts, until he made his movie The Passion of the Christ. Many don’t know what a cat of nine tales is, Roman style. A cat of nine tails are nine leather strap that are woven together at the handle. Each strap is laced with bone and other sharp objects. With each lash, flesh would be ripped from the victim’s body. Most of the illustration I have seen of the crucifixion of Jesus where quite sterile. They fail to illustrate the brutality. Their image of Jesus looks more like an under wear modal doing a photo shoot fore GQ magazine, Then the savor having the wrath of God being pored on his body for the payment of our sins. In this painting, I am place my viewer in the soldiers shoes, who just witnessed Jesus committing His spirit into God’s hands. Just as the soldier pondered the event he participated in , and looking into the face of Jesus, he proclaims, this man was truly the Son of God. Written by Stephen J. Vattimo 7/20/2020

--- His wide doll-like eyes go distant as he focuses on the assembled bones from the crypt. Tendrils of blood knit between his long fingers as he begins to weave his spell-work, expertly puppeting the dead. Their bones scrape against each other assembling into familiar shapes. His old friends sway in the dusty air. Their hollow eyes stare back at him awaiting a command. It comes once they're all upright. The Karnathi warriors don their armour and raise their weapons again despite the laws that forbid it, despite what may wait for Sir ir'Olar when judgement comes for him. This was what he was raised to do. It was cruel for the world to toss him aside now that things are peaceful.

Being a retired nurse, I often frequent , among others, an old folks forum and nurses website. One ongoing thread I have is called Davey Do's Art News, and I mentioned this website and a couple of artists who I've had the pleasure of communicating.

The moment of death of a Christian as they leave this earthly world and travel to the afterlife. The figure is halfway between the earthly and heavenly realms. The earthly realm I painted in flat paints. The heavenly realm is bright and glorious. God is depicted in trinity, you see Father, Son and Holy Spirit as one.

Into the electric elements…

A woman holds a megaphone directly to her face and out of the megaphone burst an explosion of flowers to comunícate the message "be your biggest fan" in a playful, self love, confidence boost, way.

This painting was done with the Tuscan style in mind. The Tuscan style favors a rustic look. To me this never goes out of style because it’s as if the new and the old have found a common medium and have agreed to blend so well. There’s plenty of green, beautiful grass. The windows are complimented by the various colors of flowers that are perfectly placed below them. I love how there’s a table set outside of the building with a string of lights (even more beautiful at night) for people to enjoy the scenery as they eat some tasty, authentic Italian cuisines. There’s a group of people walking past the wall of yellow flowers and vines on the way to the inside of the building. In this scene, the ladies are wearing some long, beautiful dresses with gentlemen by their side to accompany them. This gives the impression that this group is out to have a good time. The white birds tops it off in this painting by giving it an inviting feel...”a moment to remember” feeling.

It's stormy and super windy here in Amsterdam today. Wind so strong it's knocked down trees and can make you ride backwards or lift you right off your bike.

A beautiful line drawing depicts a person being hugged by his demons. He should be worried or scared, but he is happy because he accepts them—and they all look happy. The words “hug your demons” are written in a playful font below.

Done 2000 with oils on illustration board. This was one of my art college in NYC project assignment that i had to do . The theme for the project was "ludicrous" so from there we had to come up with image towards that vocabulary. First I did a thumbnail of woman combined with motorcycle,but my art professor did not approve of it, so I did my second thumbnail which was the image as you see now ,but I originally had painted her face with eyes and the third on her forehead and when I finished the painting . I showed to my other class professor and one professor recommended me that I should pull the skin over her face and get rid of the eyes so thas what I did to finish the piece. When we to show our final piece in the class almost everybody in my class were saying I am crazy in a good way I hope. Later on back in year 2001 one of the art buyer from Yahoo messenger in art chat room we got to talk about art wanted to see my artwork ,so I showed him some of my oil paintings that I did year 2000 for my class in art college he wanted to buy almost all my oil paintings so he bought the one that you see here and rest of my 2 paintings. Two new characters; Ace and Bowie. They work at a casino together, and are best friends. They always wear their masks no matter what, and are so in coordination with each other that they might as well be twins. Or something. Drawn with FireAlpaca.

I used a reference to draw this scenery. In the reference there was so many details that I really wanted to capture it. I even wanted to capture the details in the bride’s wedding dress. I think the groom looks quite handsome in blue (it’s HIS color as some people might say). I incorporated the long, beaded line under the bushels of flowers (just another element to add to an already beautiful scene). Also, as you can see, I added an audience watching the couple as they have their picture taken. The flowers spread along the table with the view of the wavy waters right behind them looks so refreshing. Every element served its purpose for the ultimate “moment to remember” feeling. One of my favorite things about this drawing is the string lights. It’s one of the smallest items to have, but they add character and charm to the scenery. The string lights give a romantic feel and is even more gorgeous at night. I enjoyed doing this drawing so much that I anticipated the second I’d be finished with it.
