Tried out some layerish-style flowers using the alcohol markers. Not sure weather I like the result or not, but it’s definitely worth mastering the medium for the effects are rather cool. In theory... Unfortunately the camera sharpens the image and the flowers are more soft and blurry in reality. They look rather fancy and mysterious on the opposite side, too.

Sometime last year when I went to my village after a while, some of the buildings I saw were now modern, they no more use mud bricks to build. What I saw was like the mud houses are giving way for the sky scrapers.
This is Lianhua. She is from the Tang Dynasty in the Year 700 Ad. She is wearing a type of hanfu (traditional Chinese dress) called a Qixiong Ruqun. If anyone knows more on Hanfu and Chinese historical fashion, let me know if I I got the the time period right or if the styles are from different time periods. This is one of my favorite pieces. This was inspired by Repo! The Genetic Opera, but it means a lot more to me as well. Feelings of desperation and also a feeling of self control that really isn't there. Forcing myself to smile and all the while, feeling hollow inside.
Butter # Who knows ny more? : The Scotch Angus. I gotta say, bottles a NOT easy subjects!.... And neither are butterflies. So a tricky one whichever way you look at it. This was certainly one to have fun with :)

Everyone thinks that they love will have a happy ending, but those are the lucky ones. What about those who have their heart played just to get the pleasure fulfilled. What happens to those who kept promises but never fulfilled them, just forgot them like they meant nothing, no memories of them were made, it had nothing to do with them. This picture that I developed at this stage of a person's life shows that they don't ask for nothing beside a happy ending, sitting together and enjoying each other's company. What was the need of stealing someone's heart, use them for your own desires and then just throw it away? What did they get at the end? It was easy for them to make promises, gaining their trust, building hopes but harder for them to prove it. Day by day the pain kills them inside but to the world they are nothing more but alive and energetic, but who knows what’s happening from the inside, when they are just trying to live each day until death comes. At this moment of time no one can heal the cuts, them deceitful memories by the one who once said they will never hurt you or leave you. But I guess one day everyone does leave you, maybe today or tomorrow. She was told to forget him because he was nothing beside a memory. He wasn’t worth it. He walked away from her, but maybe she was too caught in his memories.
