It's not quite September yet, but I finished my bullet journal sketch for next month a few minutes ago. "Come Down in Time" by Elton John, the second song on the first side of 'Tumbleweed Connection.' I'm not sure what to expect with the starting of school, with senior year as a whole, and what the end of 2020 or 2021 will bring. It feels like I'm hearing all this static and incomprehensible noise, but I open my eyes and see nothing else there, simply a dark open space.

I genuinely can't believe it's already March (I also can't believe it'll be a year since the pandemic really started). Yesterday also marked one year since I started journaling, which isn't an actual major thing, but still. How quickly time flies and how big of a difference a year can make. April has truly started off on a high note: 3 days of warm weather (a rare occurrence in an early Chicago spring), I finally did double-backs to the floor at gymnastics, found out I won a few art contests, and I got my first COVID vaccine! It's nice to have things starting to work out, even if it is just temporarily.
One week on from Beltane Fire Festival 2025 and it stills feel surreal that’s it for another year, you know? It’ll be nice to get back to some semblance of normality/whatever… For now? Have a gar on me :-P :-)
I had some family at my house this week and my niece kept wanting to play my ukulele, only she called it "kookulele". It made me laugh every time and in the morning before they got up I sketched this real quick to remind me of it.
Had to squeeze in some drawing earlier on yesterday before editing the photos I captured at Friday night’s gig with Ozric Tentacles and friends. Fantastic stuff that was!
I’m coming out of another one of those periods where I’ve drew or doodled very little (all the other projects on the go until now!), but as always I got my mojo back in the nick of time, it seems. :)
