I have long been fascinated by the vision of a campfire in a dark forest and I have drawn a few versions of it with different results. This is the latest attempt

Imani seated, massaging her neck and shoulders. I may have overworked this one. Charcoal pencils on 9” x 12” brown sketchbook paper.

A continuation of the previous illustration. What a mysterious character.

These want to go on an adventure! I made this some time ago, so stay safe everyone and do your own adventures at home.

The revision of my last sketch and the proto of my final artwork

Daily Painting Challenge 4 - argyle Following the daily painting challenge with Lisa Congdon over at CreativeBug though I haven't quite managed to keep up daily. Still, it's wonderful picking the brush up again and splashing around with paint!

A graphite on A3 Bristol Board showing the unconditional love between mother and son.

Here is a sketch that I made while sitting in the garden the other day. Made with Micron pens on Guarro paper, 6x9 inches.

Ocean children calling…

I dunno. I just wanted to draw a naked woman one day and this image started to happen as i was drawing. It is one of those thing I dunno why. It just happened thas all and here it is. Love dahlias, not just because they are so ornate, but also because they bloom so very late. The tuberous begonias and potted dahlias are still in full bloom at the start of November, how cool is THAT? (For the northern hemisphere and 47th parallel, no less!) This is a stylized drawing in colored pencils.

Journal page

Another doodle, this time using mostly shapes and lines instead of characters and faces. Also, this was done traditionally with ink instead of digitally, which I hadn't done in a while and was a lot of fun!

My newest hero (this character still does not have a name) kicks ass!

Another fantasy landscape straight from imagination

Tiny starflowers under trees are one part of macig at Finnish woods. This works point is more at illusion than realism

I was commissioned by DeviantArt and Dislyte to draw one of their characters in my own style! I chose Mona, she is so bright and cute!

Working on my stippling and hatching so I decided to draw a horse, done with ink.

John Lennon? I never knew the guy personally, but I sure did like his music and message

Color and Line on Paper

A few years ago this little guy showed up. He started appearing in my doodles as encouragement. Always defending, never judging. He is the side of my brain that tells me everything is going to be OK. He builds me up, which is why I named him Buil.

Hand drawn hand lithographed fine bone China made in England mug set in association with Heraldic Pottery Staffordshire by me

If you can summon inner chubby, you can accomplish anything, and if you can summon three, you are Darth Traya / Kreia

Drawn using 0.03 and 0.05 fineliners, this one is for a book cover so cannot reveal the finished image yet! I do love trees, they are so fascinating to draw.
