The last six months in my life after breaking up with my partner of two years in November. Mixed media on A3. This is also my entry for the Diptych competition.
My drawings depict figures that are created from my imagination. My figures are distorted and usually out of proportion as I prefer not to be constrained by reality of what we see around us . My work typically is done using a simple black biro. I find the act of drawing a vehicle to express and explore ideas in figurative forms.

It's weird to think that crowds in places is not allowed and you can actually get a hefty fine. This still rings true in Toronto. Nowadays you see something like this it's illegal. Hence the name of the drawing titled: The Illegals

Today in Portugal we celebrate our freedom day, while being inside. This is a portrait of one of our icons: Zeca Afonso, singing the iconic song "Grândola Vila Morena".
