Twisted Bliss

It's just a test page I made! Working/exercising certain techniques? I don't know, I just practice making comic pages sometimes!

Art and its worth

and now, a short poem: "I am so close to the edge, I could just take a step, and leave this lonely world behind" ... thank you, and now back to our regularly scheduled fear-mongering and brain-washing, yay!

Poppies
1/3

Poppies are among my favorite flowers---vibrant AND delicate. Great swaths of "bread poppies" garnish our garden. We harvest seeds for lemon-seed cake and poppy-seed rolls. (No, we don't harvest that other stuff.) They reseed generously and we have beautiful crops of red and purple flowers each year. I've been working on this colored pencil drawing for the past week. Enclosed are some images of the progress over that time.

Mountain Study 2

I've been working on mountains lately and started in on Matterhorn. Here is my first attempt. I have a ways to go. I'm still working through it.

Vitruvian Women

I have been wanting to explore the concept of creating a Vitruvian Women. Also felt like I struggled with the composition of the Reflect piece (which I am working on developing a series). Hence trying to learn from the best - in a scientific way:)

27 Club, April 2020.

April 7th is my birthday. The day has been usually a low-key affair, with exceptions here and there over the years. I spent it keeping busy and creative, as is custom most days whenever I'm not out working or socialising. Roll on 27!

At least I still have you ...

Orkinia Nord-Spawn as she waits at the eternal bus stop. Chubby One by her side. Just waiting for something. Chilling. Let life happen as it will, you won't have a enough strength to stop it. Just let it be. Meanwhile, you do what you want, with the people you love. And whatever happens, you'll be together. Happy. We are Untitled Heroes! https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCKXBKF6a2BWVDy_SgMvk8GQ?view_as=subscriber

The Reset Button

Hopefully this major occurrence brings about positive changes in preparedness, mindsets, practices, and concerns. Maybe the world just needed a quick reset where everything was "still" for a moment as a reminder or refresher. The silver lining in my mind is that this sets a better trajectory for future things to come and perspectives as well as for priorities to become more clear for everyone as individuals and a world working together.
