Just came out of a sudden fever and i had a dream of this beauty as i healed. Hope all of us will come back strong like this beast once this pandemic is over.
Brush with black ink and white acrylic paint on 9” X 12” acid free Strathmore Bristol smooth surface paper. The Image dimensions are about 5 1/2” X 8 ½. Signed and dated.
(The black ink was used for the character as well as for the background. The acrylic painting was used only for the small shapes in the background)

This is an old piece created as part of a series of illustrations for a poetry book entitled "Fruit and Bones" by Elizabeth Zimmers (Yon) back in 2002. Had prints made and just found them again - so I added them to my website ~ which is still a work in progress. Please visit and let me know your thoughts! Next is to add more originals and prints. But due to my harsh luck the time was out...and I was late by 2-3mins...I was extremely sad about it but then thought to upload it on my profile only...so this is basically a drawing of me and my family enjoying time in this quarantine period :) and please please please tell any kind of lack in my this drawing... Lots of the on my hands during self isolation. Got me thinking about the power of nature over us mere mortals. With all our supposed wealth and intellect we are powerless by comparison.

2015 - I wanted to try watercolor painting in a more realistic way, but this is as realistic as it can get. Sadly, I chose to ignore the nose part, in my fear of ruining everything. Although, I must say, I was happy and proud of the outcome of this attempt. ❤️

I've missed posting on Doodle addicts and checking out everyone's work. My paid work took over last week. I started this doodle in the beginning of the week and it became more of a "pen painting."

Some days I put on my "business outfit". Just so I look like I got it together and then I will start feeling that way too. That is: until I become a wreck in a business suit.

(4B pencil on a 125mm x 105mm sheet of toilet paper) To commemorate the UK leaving the EU, I decided to add my little "celebration" to mark the occasion, in the form of an inverted union flag, crudely drawn on a single sheet of toilet paper. A false sense of nationalism drove the UK out of the EU. It's therefore to be wondered how far that nationalism will serve the country on the outside. Probably as far as one sheet of toilet paper. "Mind how you go!"
