Fun with gouache! While I was painting this, I learned that "scumble"/"scumbling" are words used to describe the action of dry brush painting, so my detective's name is Scumbles.

Big-eared Brown Bat (Histiotus macrotus). Hybrid technique (digital enhanced watercolor). This species has large dark ears. The dorsal hairs are strongly bicolored, with black or dark brown bases and yellow tips. Some authors consider that H. macrotus is distributed only in Chile and Argentina. I've been doing a lot of virtual table-top roleplaying games with social distancing. This is my 2nd level fighter from a 2nd edition AD&D game I'm playing in currently.
I look at way too many carefully decorated spaces on Pinterest, so I painted one of them and then opened up the room to nature. Also a way to experiment with "gouache painting" in Adobe Fresco.
I haven’t done much art recently. This is a little sloppy, but hopefully it’s just that i’m out of practice. I would love any tips, suggestions, or any feedback for that matter.
