Here is my drawing of an alicorn (sometimes also called a pegacorn). I was originally just experimenting with creating light effects, but then I just kept going and this happened :) I don’t have much of a story for him, or even know what kind of environment he would live in....a desert perhaps where his golden wings could reflect the sunlight into the eyes of his enemies. Nic Pro 2 mm graphite lead holders (4h - 4B) on Strathmore medium surface drawing paper (9"x12"). This was my first attempt at using a proportional divider.
In the bottom of the ocean, there is a secret hiding in plain sight. The curious octopus will lead you through the dark. It will show you where to hide.
This was originally meant to be a watercolor doodle intended for the weekly drawing prompt with "coffee" but didn't quite turn out the way I expected it to. Decided to just submit it into my regular gallery instead. I really like the way the froth on the top of the cup came out. Looks tasty ^^

Not a whole lot to discuss here except that it took me FRIGGIN FOREVER to get it at least THIS accurate. It is crazy how hard your brain wants to put everything in the wrong place first and then you have to ..correct it? I don't know if I am making any sense lol.
