Expecting an event can be unbearably tiring, or it can be enjoyable. It all depends on the circumstances. And everyone can remember something similar. The girl depicted in the painting is possibly expecting a child, or perhaps some other event. She gently hugs the clock, a symbol of time, like the belly of a pregnant woman. This expectation reveals all her inner feelings, doubts, fears, and hopes associated with this event. Time drags on for an impossibly long period, so long that it seems to her that she has already grown old from this expectation. In the painting, the artist indicates this with the gray hair of a young girl. Despite the long wait, the girl smiles and hopes for the best. The artist used warm pastel colors of oil paints on canvas with gilding. The painting was created using clockwork to enhance the meaning. I think for a lot of us, the pandemic has redefined what the definition of “staying at home” means. It has been a struggle navigating the new definition of “home” and the space that “home” occupies in our lives.
I used to sketch in my car much more often. I'd go downtown and quick sketch people, scenes--whatever moved the spirit. With this sketch, I got the idea for a series...a what if ordinary moments in life were done in Picasso fashion. In this case, it was a Dad with his two kids. I never pursued the idea any further than a handful of quick sketches, but I wonder, what if I painted Dad with two kids Picasso style? It's still on my bucket list. What about you? A doodle in the series "Spot the Tennis Ball Doodle" I did years ago. There are many story in this drawing. One thing makes me love doodling the best is you can put so many stories within a single canvas. I love stories, I love telling as much.

The main story I want to tell here in this picture is the loving CARROT fox. He just desperately want to have carrot for meals but only the Hares, Rabbits grow them. And they doesn't like foxes. But lucky for him, somehow, he find a friend who can help him with that, a HARE friend. The friendship of two is beautiful. Hm, you know, just one of the normal days, the Fox wait for the Hare to carry for him a carrot. The waiting was long and Fox just couldn't stay still. But the Hare came finally, and the Fox was so happy, he JUMP!
My girl chump, she'll get that fruit punch. I heard this song the other day and I fell in love with it. My girl came to mind. It goes well with her personality, well she is a vampire. She is ruthless! Anything for her dark prince.

So this is Quinn, he is another vampire I have created for my new world that is slowly being created. He is another antagonist for Sebastian, although there will be another vampire along side that will give Sebastian hell. Quinn is vampire born within the clan.
This is my boy Sebastian. He is a collaboration of Ichabod Crane and Dracula, he was just born today. I have a least a few pages full of his sketches.

So I wanted to draw something fun since Hazbin finally came out! Looking forward to Jan 26 and Feb 2 that's when they release the next set of episodes. Alastor definitely was not disappointing...so far. It airs on Amazon Prime if your interested, great show for adults.
