This is my first holiday card of the year. I paint them and get them printed on 5x7 folded cardstock. I sell them $5 a piece of $4 a piece when you buy 2 or more. I do take online orders so let me know if you would like to purchase one.
These are the results from a request to create a piece based on a fathers son's nicknames. The older brother is the moon, second the bear, third the bird. Added the stars as the parents.
His first request was of a tattoo of sorts ...but I struggled and my drawings kept turning into children illustrations. I so enjoyed the challenge and it gave me an opportunity to honor the love of family. At the same time, it was hard to associate them into a tattoo:) .
If you get the reference in the title, yay you. If you didn’t, don’t feel bad, because I only discovered Billie in May. I am a devoted fan, as you can see. Anyway, I used sharpie, alcohol marker, and maybe a little too much pencil and ink...

Brush marker and Sharpie Pen on regular sketchbook paper. I closed my eyes and randomly picked 3 markers from my collection, and filled in the sketch that I had done previously with them. Try it!
