SteveO with his arms up. An old ballpoint pen sketch from several years ago. Red Bic pen layer converted to black and white.

Pencil Sketch

Trying to doodle my way through a Disney post-it note pad pre-printed with Mickey's face and ears.

One of my favourite artists and directors.

Ur boi brady

Seemingly trapped indoors and inside your head indefinitely, the possibility of living a normal life after COVID seems like a fevered dream. Still one of my favourite drawings from 2020 and a technique breakthrough. Ballpoint Pen on Archival 8.5" x 11" paper

2024, Ballpoint pens on 5” x 8” (10” x 8” Double page spread) acid free Moleskine sketchbook paper, Adobe Photoshop. Meadhbh with her fuzzy sweater.

Daily Drawing 685 Odette made this amazing cover of AC/DC's song "Thunderstruck" for Like a Version. My most recent music discovery. What about you, discovered anything interesting lately?

Part of a #drawthisinyourstyle challenge

My husband is finishing "...just one more episode of Law & Order: SVU" but Jane needs sleep... (shared notebook with my grandkids, hence the always-present random marks.)

Pencil drawing of the oil painting "The Hope Family Portrait" by Max Beckmann @ IU Art Museum

Done mostly with oil bar, this is more akin to a sketch than a painting. It's great when you can get loose with the process and end up with something that looks like a finished work.

The Queer Old Man is a solid wood puppet head created more than 50 years ago if not more. The eyes of the character are a radiant blue and the carved structure of the face is expressive and bold.

Another drawing of Meadhbh in my sketchbook. 2023, Double Page Spread-5” x 8,” Ballpoint Pen on Moleskine Sketchbook.

My first ever toned tan portrait. I messed up the hair but I learned a lot for next time.

A charcoal study of Gian Lorenzo Bernini’s last known work and his masterpiece. An appropriate post for today.

Part of the drawing a day project. 2018

Escaping daily life through music immersion. 2023, Ballpoint Pen on 9” x 12” Archival paper.

Bic4 sketchbook drawing of my hand.

Sketchbook #9 (Hahnemuhle Gray Book). Sometime during a playthrough of Baldur's Gate 3 as you can guess.

Group portrait of the monster management team. Ink on watercolor paper. I pushed the contrast and colors a little in digital post-processing.

Hand pose 8 with one detail and work progression shots - started with the red pen layer, then green and finally the yellow ink (feature image).
