#25 Christmas Art Contest - I'm pretty sure I drew this in 2023 if I'm not mistaken. It was for a Christmas art contest at magma.com and drawn directly on their website using an iPad pro. And well, although I met all the requirements I didn't place in the top four. The rules stated that we had to pair up with another member from the website art community to draw a Christmas themed picture relating to anything from our childhood. What you see is only half the picture. My project-partner Andy added his portion to the collaboration, but I removed his pen strokes just for my website. That's why on the right side of the picture the Christmas tree and edge appear unfinished. This image is huge, like 5000 pixels. It has been a while since I last felt that I had a good day. Got myself together to draw, and the first thing that came into mind was to continue this character design project. Tried a mix between shades of grey, pale blue, with a tint of purple. Overall, the practice in drawing bird anatomy is slowly getting there. But yea... This is not a Blue Jay... I might have went a little too blue.

Hey Boos! This is me in kindergarten. I decided to make different eras of my life. Dino Nugget is me in kindergarten (I was misaken for a boy all the time), then there is Princess who is me in 1st and 2nd grade (I was a feral demon in a princess dress what then), then Hoodie Kid (me in 5th and 6th grade), and lastly Bell Bottom who is me in 7th grade (she wont make an appearance until I make a big change in my style cause she's me currently) anyway this is just a little project for fun.

This is something I'm working on for a project, its part of a template I'm putting together. Its a little off center but I spent most of yesterday morning doodling in my sketch pad until I was happy with the design. I did have to use bat skulls as resource, it was fun.

This is a major redesign of the main character of a project I’m working on! Her name is Marie and I recently discovered that she has a Native American heritage , which I’m excited to explore with her :)

I am currently taking an art class in college and for this project I had to create three mockups of what I envision as a nest or home. I decided to do three mock up nests based off of my three favorite places I have lived. The first one is Arizona, then Washington, then Chicago.

Sometimes, a good goodbye is also a fresh hello. As we wrapped up our "Sacred Spaces" paintings, I asked our student teacher to design a one-day project—something playful, earthy, and engaging to ease the class into her care. She brought mud. Literally. Using mud and simple stencils, students pressed images—flowers, insects, wings—onto the sidewalk behind our school. There's something timeless about making marks with the ground itself. It felt ancient and immediate at the same time. These prints won’t last long, but maybe that’s the point. A fleeting image, a shared laugh, a new hand guiding the next phase of learning. Art is about making marks. Not all of them need to be permanent.

Artist @asherbingham.fineart initiated a project offering free paintings of homes lost in the recent Los Angeles fires. Since announcing this on IG, she has received over 1500 requests and enlisted volunteer artists nationwide to assist. This is one of 35 homes I've painted.

this was just a fun little doodle I did of a pretty plant I saw. it was absolutely stunning and the bright salmon/rose/red flowers just POPPED! this was a nice leisure time doodle to do in between some other projects of mine. I find my happy place sometimes being taking care of my plants, taking pictures of pretty trees and plants, walking around a plant nursery, and now drawing beautiful plants I see. my favorite fact I learned about the amaryllis was that is comes from the Greek word amarysso, which means “to sparkle” or “to shine”, as this plant does indeed sparkle and with its magnificent flowers when it blooms. I enjoyed mixing mediums and doing one as a graphic doodle with my Micron pens and the other with watercolors - it was a good study for me seeing the detail come to life by lines/dots and then come to life by colors/shadowing colors.
