This was a little colouring experiment. I used a different method from what I usually do, but it turned out great. The result is pretty satisfying for me, considering this only took me about two hours :) There's certainly room to improve, but that's what I am here for ^-^ Please enjoy! - Crypto

Wanted to do a quick snowboarding thing, but it really turned into an exercise in rendering a snowy mountain landscape.

I'm trying a new subtractive technique to get black tones in my drawing, then watercoloring over top. It's sort of a printmaking approach. Sort of.

I've been working on boring portrait studies in hopes to make my work better and hopefully at one point hire-able.

I try to do my Yoga Practice every morning, but I still am not as flexible and good as my little drawn Yogi's, ^_^.

This page, in one of my own handmade journals, I made after my surgery for Colon Cancer. And I get a lot of comfort from Yana, my sweet cat.

India ink on tissue paper. I had never used ink on this kind of paper before; I really liked the results! There are some folds and wrinkles on the paper that give the pattern some interesting details. The paper is also super absorbing, which plays nicely with the quantities of ink. Since it's very thin, there can easily be overlays between textures. And finally, when trying to use less ink (so that it wouldn't seep through and cause a big dot - the absorbing quality is nice, but it was also somewhat of a challenge!) I used very little ink on the lettering, causing a scratchy, dry look.

Capturing movement.

"Focus" this piece is about focusing your intention on your dreams, activities, life. Also, I love Peggy Gou - a Korean DJ who is an absolute pleasure to watch. Not only is she super skilled, but you can tell she absolutely loves what she does.

I did this landscape image on brown paper, then coloured it with Copic Markers After outlining with India Ink. TIME: 45 Minutes

This painting/ drawing is started in the Abstract with forms created organically. I used Acrylics and applied them liberally as you might use in watercolor techniques. I love challenging myself to create in this form, as I do in finding the figures which may form themselves in the process. I then detail the figures in a drawing style to enhance and bring it forward. This spread was unfinished for over a year and I finally got around to completing it. Micron on Molskine sketch grade paper.

I love how typography, when selectively filled in, becomes a rhythm, a cadence, a song.
