Support Is on The Way

Medium : Pen and Ink on Bristol Board Size : 11" x 15" Year completed : 1987 This rendering is part of a collection of illustrations entitled " The Army Years." This rendering remind me of a ride I took on A Army National Guard helicopter, while I was serving in the Air Force- Civil Air Patrol. We were helping them to figure out the safest, and fastest, flight paths between hospitals, for when a patient needs to be air lifted from one hospital to another. I got to rider in one of the sides compartments of the craft, with the side door open ( of course I was strapped in to my seat ) the craft at one point flew with my side parole to the grown, as it made a couple of sharp turn, real fun ride. I served in the Civil Air Patrol for 4 year, one of the benefits, was a lot of flying time. I Severed in the United States Army fore 9 years, 4 years National Guard, and 4 years Regular Army. While in the military , I was a anti tank toe missile crewman, Combat Engineer , and a Field Medic. I served during The Panama War, Desert Shield/ Desert Storm, Police action in Somalia. This picture is entitled " Support Is on The Way." because any field soldier know that helicopter are the main transport vehicle for delivering, supplies, mail, equipment, moving troops back and forth, from the rear to the battlefield. eyes

I did not use a reference :/ so yeah that's kind of a problem but it's ok... I used HB for the sketch, 2B for shading, and 4B for the eyebrows and eyelashes. I just noticed that I forgot to put a reflection of the lashes on the eyes...

first attempt at drawing an angel (Adobe Fresco)

Random and quick angel design (not an OC) In my world building angels look either extraterrestrial, humanoid or similar to a cyborg (this one however doesn't look like either of those hence it's only a random design)a lot of them do wield weapons and wear armor (like a few high ranking demons would, mainly in war) They're not the typical blonde blue-eyed angels that look like people.majority of them hide their faces in armor (since they're too pure to reveal their own faces)and most of them don't have any wings or share any body parts people have (legs, feet, arms, fingers, noses, ears hair etc)it's best for the angels to be diverse in appearance like the demons (I also hate the idea of demons being red-skinned,having goat legs and having that pointy arrow tail) I don't know if I will ever draw my version of angels since clearly I prefer drawing demons,it may be really fun or really complex.

Willow Taylor (OC)

Willow's an oc of mine... she's very quirky. She's better suited to hanging out with the dead than the living. Also, super open to tips on this one because, as a beginner, I'm not amazing at diverse people. Like, black people have different facial structures and hair. Asian people have different facial structures and hair. So if I got something wrong, I'm open to redrawing that part. Just lmk.

Kuwei Yul-Bo

Kuwei... He's so underrated. Can we stop hating on him for kissing Jesper for one second to appreciate how naughty and charming an act that was? Like, he just smirked. He was like, "Yup, I just got Wylan mad at you and mad at himself for that and mad at me! Isn't it funny? You're a good kisser." Like that scene- that was amazing. Kuwei is amazing. Anyway, this was a little doodle of Kuwei as a solemn inferni. Little did I know that he would be setting fire to forests in KoS lol! Yup, I liked the surprise of "pretend I'm Wylan to kiss Jesper and set forests on fire at Os Alta" Kuwei better than this pensive Little Palace student, but I drew it and it came out okay, so here it is.

The Creation Cries Out

This painting was done for my sister. She loves dolphins, and she asked me when I would paint a picture for her. When I considered doing this painting, I thought about how I could design an illustration that would use the names of fish to teach her the attributes of Jesus being the Son of God and Savior of the world. The names of the fish who reveal something about Jesus’s attributes are labeled in red, just as in a red-letter edition Bible, the words spoken by Jesus are printed in red. The names of the fish whose labels are blue are different breeds of angelfish. Three dolphins represent the trinity of God—the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit. The silhouette of the three men on crosses represent the price Jesus paid on the cross to buy man out of slavery of sin and deliver man from being cast into the eternal lake of fire. The black-and-white fish is called a sheep head. John the Baptist called Jesus the lamb of God, who would take away the sins of the world. The reddish-orange fish is called a flaming angel. John said that he baptized people with water to call themselves back to God and to repent for their sins. He said that Jesus would baptize with fire the person called the Holy Spirit. The gold-yellow fish is called the shepherd angel. In the Bible, Jesus is referred to be the Good Shepherd because He takes care of His followers as a sheep herder would take care His sheep. He provides for their needs and protects them from danger. The brown fish with the fanned-out fins is called a lionfish. The Bible call Jesus the lion of Judea. Jesus first came to the Earth to deliver mankind from sin by offering His life to pay for our sin. The second time He comes, He will come to set up His earthly kingdom and rule over all the nations for a thousand years. The small fish with a scarlet head is called a king demoiselle fish. Jesus will have all authority to rule over all the nations given to Him from God the Father. 48 49 SALVATION The large orange fish with the green fins is call a rainbow parrot. The rainbow represents a covenant between man and God. Just as God put a rainbow in the sky once the great flood ended to remind man of God’s promise not to destroy the world by flood again. So, do we have a covenant through the blood of Jesus that if man will accept the terms to be delivered from sin, its eternal punishment, and turn from pursuing a rebellious life toward God, God will give them eternal life. The sleek brown-and-white fish is called a schoolmaster. Jesus spent the last three years of His life teaching about who God is, what heaven is like, what hell is like, what sin is, and how it keeps man separated from God. What is God’s plan to redeem man from sin? He taught how man should live to be pleasing in God’s sight. (October 28, 2017)
