The monochromatic weekly challenge inspired me to do an eye study. I've been having a bit of a composition block and thinking about starting to sell at art fairs, so my thoughts are preoccupied. I was going for a surreal and moody feeling—dystopian, sort of not. Per usual, my inspirations are pretty noticeable. I am starting to get more comfortable being stylized. I am trying to put emotion in my landscapes. I used Rebelle 6
My little Brother, Timmey, asked me to draw something scary with his red marker/pen thingy. I said okay and in 5 minutes made this monstrosity. While its not that "scary" it certainly is disturbing. Its funny how the same mind that can create such heartful and goofy images can also create at times depressing or unsettling things like this. I guess every artist can draw "Dark" stuff. They just have to try.
