The bird had a pair of sunglasses she used exclusively to daydream. Today she dreamed about blueberries. It seemed strange - maybe - to daydream about them while sitting under a blueberry bush, but the bird thought it made them sweeter. Besides, they were better conversationalists in her imagination.

I did not use a reference :/ so yeah that's kind of a problem but it's ok... I used HB for the sketch, 2B for shading, and 4B for the eyebrows and eyelashes. I just noticed that I forgot to put a reflection of the lashes on the eyes...
DISCLAIMER: this is not a shame to my mother, she is amazing but I just get in a head space and I can’t get out if it wasn’t for my amazing friends I love y’all.
My latest illustration! I recreated my character Okimoto Manami (a computer graphics piece back in 2013) in a traditional Japanese setting. She is in a traditional house overlooking a garden that has a pond, a cherry blossom tree and a flower bush. She also has Ikebana (flower arrangement) peony piece near her. Theres also peony designs on her kimono.The kind of kimono she’s wearing is a furisode.I have advanced quite a bit in the past eight years and I prefer using traditional mediums these days! Colored pencils used: Caran d’ache luminance, Posca colored pencils, Faber Castell polychromos, etc..
I decided to illustrated a picture of @justinhofman published in Sept 19 of 2017 in @natgeo about the pollution and how animals are suffering for our ways of using plastic. This seahorse was captured in the waters of Sumbawa Besar, Indonesia. “The art of pollution”.
This is just a doodle, nothing special. Basically Tam and Keefe in a nutshell. I am THIS CLOSE to finishing Unlocked, which makes me sad and happy at the same time. Sad, because I am going to have to wait who knows how long for the next book to come out. Happy because I can now look at and watch whatever I want without any spoilers. So yeh. Another OC redesign along with a new name,she still looks somewhat like her old design except now she has short hair instead of poofy long hair,green eyes,different horns,two lower fangs instead of one and lastly the sharp horns on each side of her face.she also doesn't have a hourglass body shape anymore (I don't want two female characters having the same body type)She is a good friend of Tenebris,they often challenge each other and have fights to see which who is stronger than each other,she is athletic,loud mouthed and mischevious and she is skilled in flying unlike Tenebris.
