"My possibly late husband never learned to appreciate modesty and humbleness, im afraid." Being married to a pirate in the kings service comes with a lot of material perks, but makes it difficult to host a fine ladies party. im just glad to have finnished, i sat for three days painting patterns.
I've finally redrawn my profile picture! Except, my actual profile picture will be magenta instead of blue. This design still isn't canon, but I haven't found the motivation to redraw the entirety of the Ringmaster's crew. My last attempt was with the advanced version of Elizabeth, and the unfinhed Preistor, but they take so long to make --- and that's why Preistor goes unfinished. The reason they take so long is because I also sculpt the endo inside of them, in which the 2.5 versions didn't have an endo, and the joints and such were put in after I had drawn ths shell. This is what i’m trying to draw but I rushed it and the horse is way out of proportion so i’m restarting it. But here is what it’s mostly going to look like. It’s a big 18 x 24in drawing,
This was painted shortly after the peregrine painting. The peregrine was given to a raffle, and the winner of that painting purchased this one when it was finished.
The hair needs some work before I can say that this is finished. It's the only part that I'm not happy with.
Edit: I fixed the hair but made the face worse, and ended up ruining the painting. So. There you go.
I just finished my very first book illustration gig. It was a ton of work and the client is really happy! Just a few years ago I never would have dreamed I'd illustrate a book. Yay me!
I just finished an ultimate visual catalogue as realized I didn't have any illustrations for some characters, so ai realized I had to make one. Here's Doll, the ringleader of organized crime in a mystical city.

Aside from Elizabeth, Preistor is the only other animatronic created in the version 3 style --- and he isn't even finished. He's missing his outer legs and arms, and fingers, and his rabbit ears. For now, he sits in Jester's workshop --- abandoned, like all the others. Drawn with FireAlpaca.

So this is the ~Finished Product~ of that one Linh drawing, and I took it with my phone so it's not as bad quality. Looking back now, I could have done so much better, but it is what it is. Besides, I've practiced and gotten so much better, and I'm proud of myself for that!! :)
Finished this today in urban sketching. View from my backyard with Edinburgh tenements and a back corner of Fountainbridge library. Mixed media on A4 (pencil, watercolour pencil, brush pen, posca markers, white ink and conte pastel). I always end up mixing lots of media these days :O
Two different creatures from two different worlds just coming together to say hi! I did this one originally in acrylic on sturdy watercolour paper but never finished it, and decided it was finally time to finish it. However I did this one digitally with an Apple Pencil and the Procreate app.
Still unfinished.
I keep painting on my sketch pad and not watercolour paper, which means the paper warps when drying. Hence the face being slightly wobbly.
