Used by witches to restore eyesight once their bodies start to decay from being far too old. The liquid is sipped from the shell of a tortoise and eyesight is restored for a period of 6 months. (I just made that up)
This is just a doodle, nothing special. Basically Tam and Keefe in a nutshell. I am THIS CLOSE to finishing Unlocked, which makes me sad and happy at the same time. Sad, because I am going to have to wait who knows how long for the next book to come out. Happy because I can now look at and watch whatever I want without any spoilers. So yeh. I've finally redrawn my profile picture! Except, my actual profile picture will be magenta instead of blue. This design still isn't canon, but I haven't found the motivation to redraw the entirety of the Ringmaster's crew. My last attempt was with the advanced version of Elizabeth, and the unfinhed Preistor, but they take so long to make --- and that's why Preistor goes unfinished. The reason they take so long is because I also sculpt the endo inside of them, in which the 2.5 versions didn't have an endo, and the joints and such were put in after I had drawn ths shell. I haven't done a still life since highschool! I was finally motivated to make one after finding this black conch shell on the beach of Rimini. In the past I found one but it was broken, i feel like i've been on a healing journey and was delighted to find a complete full shell. In a way I took it as a sign of the healing graces God is pouring out on me. I also found the coral thing floating on the waves of the shore. I felt the presence of the divine through His creation that day. I picked up the other scallop shells and the red rock there too. The big snail shell I found outside the monastery, there are some big snails here! So yeah, I wasn't trying to be too precise in this still life but I wanted to jot down the idea and my thoughts from that day. Peace be with you all
During my school days where we were asked to draw a still life of objects we want to go on holiday with. I have chosen a purse, some slippers and lots of cute little things. The colours look fantastic and it is a mixed medium art as I used colours, pencil and acrylics for this.
Meet Lorisnail, my original character for a children’s book. It is a lonely and thoughtful creature that looks like a loris (a small primate that lives in Southeast Asia) and a snail. Needle felted wool on pipe cleaner with paper mache shell.
