I created this for fun using an app called ProCreate on my iPhone. The character is called Fred Rock and he enjoys taking his shredding skills on all kinds of adventures.

I have many odd objects in my house, but I think the oddest is the 3D printed model of my teeth (with my braces on them). Long story short, these had to be made when I got my retainers, but I was lucky enough to be able to take them and my braces home. (Don't worry, I thoroughly disinfected and cleaned the braces before gluing them on.) I genuinely forgot I had this, so finding them kind of startled me at first.

Where do I begin with this one? This is a drawing of my dad and I; the picture was taken back in 2006, a happier time, I suppose. I don't commonly think about my dad, I don't necessarily think about how much I miss him or how I wish I could see him again, so it was odd for me to sit and look through old photos. I don't really know my dad; I do, but I don't. My dad was physically part of my life for 10 years, the second half of those were not the best. Mental illness, self medicating for years, debt, heroin, arguments, threats, uncertainty. I feel like I remember the negative more because I was older, my parents couldn't hide it from me like they used to. At the same time, when he was sober and stable, life was good. Life was great, things felt complete. So here I am, 6 years since he died. I don't want to say his image is fading, but I know less of who he was than I did before. I see the good from some (the ones who praise him, who act like he was a saint), and I see the bad from others (the one who felt the pain). I suppose I no longer see my view, my memories aren't there anymore. I don't necessarily feel sad, the anger has faded, and I can't say I'm happy. Maybe I'll figure it out one day, but, for now, it is what it is.

First attempt going digital. Pen ran out of battery mid-way so ended using my fingers to the end.

Annette Hanshaw, look her up. She is wonderful!!! Now, I think some people think I'm tryna be rude doing this whole Joker-esque vibe, PLEASE, I'm not. I like and respect Joker (mainly the Mark Hamill one). The music that Annette Hanshaw sings is one that takes me back to a time where we get that nice old soul of old timey goodness, which is what Mr Mark Hamill's portrayal of the Joker made me think of. So, making an older photo of Annette Hanshaw look like the Joker form DC comics, to me, is a cool thing. Yes, I didn't draw the entire thing, this is just me drawing over the picture. During this Quarantine I have had so much fun exploring what else I can create. Using this opportunity I am creating patterns & textures and trying to sell them on a few websites.

I draw as discreetly as i can interesting faces in buses, cafes, parks. in general I get away with it, but sometimes fellow passengers, or patrons notice my moral trespassings, with a wink.

Latest digital portrait using Porcreate

It’s been over 20 years since I was an artist and animator in the video game industry and did art on the computer. I’ve been re-learning digital art since I’ve been stuck in doors during this Covid pandemic, and this is a charcoal piece I just did in Procreate. If you haven’t already tried this mind blowing program, I highly recommend it!

Since I can’t sit inside my favorite coffee shops and draw, I’m drawing them from the outside. This is the first in the series.

This a figurative inspired abstract sketch using layers of pencil crayon. I wanted to express an individuality and togetherness at the same time. I also wanted to experiment with space, shape and depth.

Basically: 1. I joined Quarantine Art Hangout, 2. The artists posted an assignment using the colour palette, 3. I made this, 4. I submitted it. :D

I did set up the ingredients for an Easter bread with raisins and nuts, so i could make a sketch of it before i made the dough. While the dough was resting i worked it out in pen and ink.

I’ve been getting more into painting recently and I came up with this. ( Also I haven’t been able to go to the store to purchase more paint brushes so I’ve been using things such as old makeup brushes, Q-tips etc.)

Now that I am stuck at home and practicing social distancing, I finally drew on the postcard I've held onto since joining Doodlers' Anonymous A WHILE ago. :)

Well... My school got closed for 2 weeks due to COVID-19. I think that the virus is a relatively serious thing, but closing schools isn’t going to do anything. The virus will still be there when we come back. I’m glad for the break, but I know I will find myself bored at some point. This means a lot of random paintings and drawings :)

This piece came out in an attempt to make sense of the world around me after discovering that I have autism and a few processing disorders. I’ve always had a hard time in relation to people and now it makes sense, but wrapping my mind around who I am and what people want is a challenge. Acyrlic paint. Maine Coon Kitten, drawn with fineliners and alcohol markers. Took 3 and a half hours to complete. Super happy with how this came out, it was my first time using alcohol markers for an artwork.

So it has been a while since I posted anything.. have been practicing a little lately and will try to post the progress as I go =)

Thinking of doing a series of drawing pop culture and gaming cherries in a "twist". That twist equating to exploring my different styles, since it's been awhile. If you don't t know, this is a character rehashed from my imagination of what "toad" people would look like in a different Super Mario universe. Yes, they wear no pants. Which beloved character should I experiment with next?
