sketch

Life has been BUSY! Managed to get in a bit of practice today, slowly getting better at facial proportions which has been a real struggle for me. My next challenge is trying to find a pencil sharpener big enough for this Lyra Color Giant pencil I have been using :D

Horizontal pupils are fascinating. Have not figured out the function but did find out that Newts are able to regenerate limbs - including the lens of its eye!

inspired by the gorgeous Jim Reno + the beauty of autumn; my favorite season ever!!!! Watch the video here: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=PBypNGHARTw&t=13s

Final page in the current sketchbook… and that concludes things (for now)!

No idea what squid radio images look like, but here's something close.

Much ado about the bullshit of relationships.

It seems like most people I know these days are starting families, so I figured I'd respond in the way I know best...

I was thinking the other day about what got me interested in art and remembered that I used to draw these DBZ characters all the time. (Now not having the time to do much of anything and character drawings are pretty simple) Knowing what I know now I decided to do a quick sketch, mainly because I need to practice my line work.

Top half to my most recent sketch.

Something simpler (on the surface at least).

Breaking into July the way I know best.

Geometric/mark making. Colored Pencil, Markers, and Poscas in Royal Talens Art Creation Sketchbook (4.7"x4.7")

Beachwear. Daily doodles with a limited palette of coloured pencil.

Playing around for fun.

Dragonite wishing you all a happy Chinese new year when it comes! :-)
