Beep boop bam! Here, I'm trying to draw from one little-known RPG=D I've always really liked Xiangling's palette! And the design as a whole. It had to happen-
Inspired by my recent trip to Korea, which I intentionally went this season to catch the cherry/plum/peach blossoms. As I observed the zigzagness of the tree branches, I see in it the number of roads/mis-roads I had to take, as someone unfamiliar with the land, to get to a good bloom spot. Which kinda reminds me of life. I felt I just had to do this piece.
Ugh, it's been a long time since I've painted the good old Jiao... Come on, admit it, who didn't do their homework and made the teacher angry??>:( Oh yeah... An experimental palette! I don't even know if I like it or not
[Intro]
(D-D-Dark side)
[Verse 1: Tomine Harket]
We're not in love
We share no stories
Just somethin' in your eyes
Don't be afraid
The shadows know me
Let's leave the world behind
[Chorus: Tomine Harket]
Take me through the night
Fall into the dark side
We don't need the light
We'll live on the dark side
I see it, let's feel it
While we're still young and fearless
Let go of the light
Fall into the dark side
[Post-Chorus: Tomine Harket]
Fall into the dark side
Give in to the dark side
Let go of the light
Fall into the dark side[Verse 2: Au/Ra]
Beneath the sky
As black as diamonds
We're runnin' out of time (Time, time)
Don't wait for truth
To come and blind us
Let's just believe their lies
[Pre-Chorus: Au/Ra]
Believe it, I see it
I know that you can feel it
No secrets worth keepin'
So fool me like I'm dreamin'
[Chorus: Tomine Harket & Au/Ra]
Take me through the night
Fall into the dark side
We don't need the light
We'll live on the dark side
I see it, let's feel it
While we're still young and fearless
Let go of the light
Fall into the dark side
[Post-Chorus: Tomine Harket & Au/Ra]
Fall into the dark side
Give in to the dark side
Let go of the light
Fall into the dark side[Bridge]
(D-D-Dark side)
(Dark side)
(Dark side)
(Dark side)
[Chorus: Tomine Harket & Au/Ra]
Take me through the night
Fall into the dark side
We don't need the light
We'll live on the dark side
I see it, let's feel it
While we're still young and fearless
Let go of the light
Fall into the dark side
I bought a set of 3 Bic multi-color ballpoint pens, a total of 10 colors including black, and a new sketchbook. Playing around with what colors and effects are possible, I'm excited to do more stuff with these pens.
The colors didn't perfectly reproduce between the photo and JPEG compression. But I love how the upper left section is all done with the one dark blue, green, and red pen.
Two charms! I love books about Moomins. And these two are very interesting characters! I really like their story. I drew this art about a week ago. It is based on one of the illustrations of the book by Tove Jansson
I'm surprised how when I use a sketchbook's back page basically to test media, I end up freed from the pressure to make anything "good" and as a result, the doodles that end up there sometimes tell their own story that I look back on much later and remember.
Mymble's daughter! I like her so much X0 I don't want to litter everything with a large text here, so I'll tell you about it either in my shitpost, or to someone who will be interested in the character like me:) I'm happy with result! I didn't sweat for nothing. What do you think?:3
