I needed some positive vibes, so I painted a moth with a day wing and a night wing. Gouache on watercolour paper.

Beginning. The bird had a pair of sunglasses she used exclusively to daydream. Today she dreamed about blueberries. It seemed strange - maybe - to daydream about them while sitting under a blueberry bush, but the bird thought it made them sweeter. I was doing this while listening to M83, specifically “My Tears Are Becoming A Sea”. I wanted to do art inspired by that song. This is a very quick random drawing that’s actually really bad but I just was doodling for like 10 minutes and decided to post it.

Pasha was a beloved German Shorthaired Pointer rescue dog. He came to us a bedraggled youngster and lived to become a "grand old man." This pencil drawing was done as a tribute after he "crossed the rainbow bridge."
