Wow it's been 10 days already I'm very much impressed with myself for keeping this up. I had an American dad marathon and saw a butterfly in one of the episodes and the drawing prompt I've been using said to draw a snowglobe so i combined the two together.

Catmint - also known as catnip and catsworth.
Male cats tend to like catnip more because the same chemical can be found in a female cat’s urine.

This is a little collage (did you know Maxfield Parrish invented collage, not Picasso?) of a characters from one of my children's books. I wondered if this would inspire a book. Not yet.
He dies with the honor of his ancestors, among the trees, not strung up on a dead one like his brothers or forced to work like a slave as his sisters. He dies a proud alf. The creative demon possessing me at the time must’ve either been Mark E. Smith or Radiohead’s ‘Hail To The Thief’ shaped, judging by the lyrics of this one..
This mixed media piece is what I call a Monday to Monday piece. At the start of each week while working on other pieces I often times have left over paint or want to see how something works out before I put it on the main piece I’m working on so I use a piece of heavy weight paper to test all that on and just keep adding to it through out the week. It also gives me a space to just make whatever I want if I need a break from the main pieces I’m working on.
I was doing this while listening to M83, specifically “My Tears Are Becoming A Sea”. I wanted to do art inspired by that song. This is a very quick random drawing that’s actually really bad but I just was doodling for like 10 minutes and decided to post it.
