For our 10th anniversary this past Monday, we went on a hike at Land's End. It was cold and blustery! Got a quick sketch in from the labyrinth. Rain lines added as it started to rain by my son.
I made this last summer, and I don't know how I did it, since I was terrible at drawing then. This is fan art from the game Don't Starve Together. Please comment, I like reading your comments.
This is one of the first digital art peices I have done that I actually like. I have never attempted to draw the hair in braids so my digital art isn't always bad. I started this with the Doodle Addicts Pre/post quarantine diptych drawing challenge in mind, but I didn't make the deadline (I started it on the day of the deadline, so it was a little ambitious!). The first half of the drawing represents before the corona virus and the second half is after the virus and kind of living with it. No pencil, just straight into the drawing with ink. It's rough, but I like how it turned out and there are some fun characters.

Magnolias are spring harbingers in our garden, as well as our annual ornamental cherry display. Star magnolias are over, tulip magnolias are in full swing, and the occasional Southern magnolia is starting. Perhaps I should have done this with a gouache paint, but I used colored pencils. Oh well. Outlined after with various sizes of Pigma Micron pens.

Sharpie pen (fine) + Prismacolor markers on white paper • After diving into a few episodes of Westworld season 3, I found myself a little lost. After watching all of season 2 again, I found myself with more questions. So now you can find me starting Westworld season 1 again.
This is one of my favourite artists, Arlo Parks. I‘ve started up with my portraits again since social distancing, and she was the first one waiting in the queue since the summer :)
This started as some scribbling with Inktense pencils on large plain drawing paper. Then I was done, I wanted to wet the the drawing to release the "ink," but I found that the paper would not take water without drastic buckling. So, it remains a drawing rather than becoming a painting.
