I originally had something else planned to draw today but I have to let the gesso dry for 24 hours before I can do anything on the board, so instead I decided to do something simple today and just draw a flower using a pen and ink crosshatch style that I found online that I thought was really cool

Yay! It's my Birthday! (Toon Link Windwaker style!). Hard to believe I'm 35 already :o (Oct. 29, 1986). All the seminarians sang happy birthday to me in english when I got my morning coffee. heh. I used to sketch in my car much more often. I'd go downtown and quick sketch people, scenes--whatever moved the spirit. With this sketch, I got the idea for a series...a what if ordinary moments in life were done in Picasso fashion. In this case, it was a Dad with his two kids. I never pursued the idea any further than a handful of quick sketches, but I wonder, what if I painted Dad with two kids Picasso style? It's still on my bucket list. What about you? This piece is called, ‘Mrs Victoria,’ I created this for a friend in 2018. This is on a canvas. I use acrylic paint. This was a request, he was telling me the type of art that he wanted to give his girlfriend for her birthday. I love challenges as an artist, and it helps me to try new things in my art. My style is kind of versatile. He brought the piece, for his girlfriend. They both loved it. Prints of this piece is now on sale on my ArtPal site. This is my own take on Yoai’s mini chibi tutorial for Bonnie. You can find this in her book ‘mini chibi art class: a complete course in drawing cuties & beasties’. I wanted to follow her tutorial but also give my own style while doing so. This was done in procreate.
The Word "MOSTAFA" is written in Arabic using the Kufi writing style. The word is sculpted on wood. I've used colored pencils to color the word. I've also used an Islamic framework to surround the word and beautify it.
Late night on Google I came across a creepy vintage photo. And I decided to draw it my art style . I used Watercolours and a fine point black sharpie .
I was experimenting with new brushes here, and also learning to draw eyes in different styles. I struggled a lot with the nose in this painting, because it was hard to figure out proportions without the rest of the face. Feedback always welcome!

I made this Icon Style Sketch on my new cappuccino colored (mid tone) sketchbook. It gives it a more antique feel, like an ancient scroll or something! :D This is of course, as it says, Saint Raphael the Archangel. You can see that he is about to give the Medicine of God because "God Heals" as his name says. ^_^
