Finished the color! I feel I rushed it a little bit, but i'm reasonably happy with the finished product. If I tried to perfect it, I'd never get it done >_< I've added some new background details, some new peeps and edited the dialogue a lil' bit. I feel very strongly that an immersive world is part of good storytelling, so I try and sneak details in wherever I can, such as the graffiti in the second panel. I am, in fact, unsatisfied with that graffiti. It's not magical enough. what does magical graffiti look like, I wonder? Do you guys have any ideas?

This is a graphite pencil drawing of a conch shell I found on the beach in Florida. I used this sketch as a base for a intaglio print I made. The sketch features the cool textures and forms of the shell in a harsh contrasting light.

It's a second attempt at drawing a landscape with a water element. I'm not focusing on many details by drawing water. Creating a lot of blurry shapes and lines gives a great reflection effect.

Endangered Species New Zealand Kaka... A large olive-brown forest parrot with grey-white crown, bright red-orange underwing and deep crimson belly and under-tail coverts. Males have a noticeably longer and deeper upper mandible and bigger head than females which is apparent when the two are seen side by side. An idea for if Ms.Chalice from "Cuphead; The Delicious Last Course" had the chance to exact revenge on the ghosts in the mausoleums from "Don't Deal With the Devil", a new skin could be awared to her upon completing all 3. The idea for said skin is ad follows. SIlver or greyscale, stone ghost (eyes are gone) or ghostly cutie. ( no legs,just a tail)

I continued adding to my previous sketch of a Marwari Horse. Adding the name "Chhori", meaning "girl", and more details.

Just having fun with details, mechanical parts are always a fun way to do that

Long ago a banana fell into an unknown bay and was washed out to sea. Through strange circumstances this creature evolved into an air breathing, free-swimming, sun loving, epipelagic level dwelling, migratory creature that reproduces by budding. It is rarely seen. If a predator is sensed nearby the animal folds in its fins and tail and if ever observed it is considered a water soaked piece of fruit and is usually avoided. (Saw a banana lying on the counter and it seemed to be looking at me. A quick photo and some manipulation and art work in Procreate brought forth a Musa Marinus.)

Took me a few days to complete because of other life events, and I tend to go slow, especially when I get caught up in the details. But I was discovering this was something I was eager to get back to; thinking about it through the day and figuring out how to finish it. Right now it’s on pause as I think how to do the background. :)
