This was a request for a tattoo design. Done with a Bic pen.

A nautically colored doodle, drawn traditionally and colored digitally. Ahoy!

Part of a tattoo project on going to build on a portfolio. Also art therapy in the later night owl hours when the mind wants to sketch but not to think :) A perfect subject here reflects that balance and time of peace

I drew a girl holding a cupcake and felt bored by her, so I added some sweet-ass tats. This was fountain pen ink run through water brushes. For more Digital Random Joy™, be sure to check out Instagram Super_Starling, which is a fairly fun place, if I do say so myself.

My son asked me to design a tattoo for him and this is what I have come up with so far. I think he is going to love it! What do you think?

Working on a tattoo for myself that's based on the Disney Magic Kingdom's Haunted Mansion. The Tightrope Girl is part of the expanding elevator in the beginning of the ride. I changed the shape of the original painting to a coffin; simplified everything down; and added some flourishing. I'm not great at flourishing yet.

My friend and I are trying to nail down a tattoo idea for her that involves witchcraft and weight lifting. (Note: the final picture was supposed to be two different ones, but appears to be repeating itself. This happens to me sometimes. Not sure how to fix it.)

There was a royal lineage in Europe that was so inbred that their jaws started getting really distended and weird. Like Jay Leno, but inbred. (I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt.) Feel free to look up the Hapsburgs. I'll wait. The second picture is a Fiji mermaid and a merman. I think I want a merman tattoo. SMOLDER.

This mermaid/siren is the type that's a man/octopus instead. I think he'd make a nice tattoo if he were cleaned up a bit.

This woman is the last traditional tattooist in Kalinga, Philippines. During her time, she did the tattoos of the warriors from their tribe. Her age now is around mid 90s.

I did this one to practice my pencil work and to improve on drawing realism. I used a reference photo from one of my favorite magazines, Inked, I removed the other tattoos on the model except for the beautiful rose tattoo.
