Hello everyone! I love chibi cute kawaii style. Here's my Mario version, I hope you like it :)

Once upon a time, there lived a princess. Not a vicious, bloodthirsty princess. No, Nettle was a quiet, bookish girl, and that was a problem. As anyone could tell you, a princess was not gentle. A princess was not forgiving. Above all, a princess was never..kind. — Nettle is a character from a story called Wing I've been working on quietly for a long time. You can check out this post on my new artist blog about the process of creating this comic character: https://christinewelmanblog.wordpress.com/2019/03/24/my-process-for-designing-a-comic-character/

Pencil Drawing

Today is National Scribble Day, so I asked my girlfriend to draw me a scribble to create something from. It took me a bit to see something in it, but I flipped the sketchbook upside-down and found a bear! Is she falling or dancing? It depends on which way you turn it!

Just a few sprouts popping out of some bread bubbles. A new sandwich bag art which is part of a series started in 2008.

Another one for MightCouldDrawToday! This week is Bears and I drew a cute bear from a photo reference I found. Lined with a Tombow Fudenosuke marker and colored with my Derwent Inktense Pencils. My sketchbook really can't handle the water! >.

This is from 2015 - Fineliners & brush pen. There are prints available via my website!

I'm working on a mini series in which I'm drawing some of my favorite Pokemon,Sceptile is my favorite Grass Type Pokemon, plus this drawing gave me an excuse to use several different green watercolors that I own. The rest of the gang can be found over at Instagram (link in bio). Thanks for viewing!

I am still trying to learn and understand how to draw and deal with watercolors.
