Magnolias are spring harbingers in our garden, as well as our annual ornamental cherry display. Star magnolias are over, tulip magnolias are in full swing, and the occasional Southern magnolia is starting. Perhaps I should have done this with a gouache paint, but I used colored pencils. Oh well. Outlined after with various sizes of Pigma Micron pens.

This is a sketch of my cat, squeaks, cuddling my partner. This is typically what he does to try to sense movement to know when she’s awake so he can get breakfast. Please give me feedback!!! I would really appreciate it!
More old paper art I created when I was 17. "Gresaltz,a very dangerous but intelligent nurgal demon almost goblin-like.he goes to the mortal world to collect souls for his master along with Gron and Gritz"

Hand drawn repeat pattern design, I used ink and then pencil crayon on top. The idea was to create a realistic scene of what life was like for me in the 80's - as opposed to cutesy images of children playing with puppies etc.
