Sewing paper is lots of fun. Taking a lot of my cats and sewing them to pretty paper. Not sure what I will do with them after that, but they are fun to make.
Graham's Up the Tree! ("and there's nowhere else he can go!") - my 4 year old ran around the house for weeks misquoting the story with his own interpretation of an Australian accent. Calling it out over, and over, and over again.
My husband has a chronic illness and frequently spends weeks in the hospital. I have been doodling each day while sitting with him and many of them reflect my thoughts at the time. Often appearing are desperation, hope, frustration, sarcasm, fear.
We all wear masks…some are beautiful, some are ugly, we change them depending on occasions or people we meet, but every mask is just another piece of who we are.
With this portrait I challeged myself to focus more on strokes than variety of techniques and brushes. I mainly used @jingsketch soft square render harmonic brush
I like drawing my body like this, well, I feel like I can accept the flaws in my own body. I think all my toons going forward will have some bumps and curves.
