Fuschia flowers from the garden which are a favourite with the New Holland Honeyeaters.

This little pine cone was missing one side and looks like it’s been eaten, revealing a repeating pattern in the centre of the cone.

The nearby pine tree has dropped quite a few pine cones, all in different states of decay. I enjoy looking at the different shapes, sizes and colours of each cone, each with its unknown story.

para el día 9 de Inktober hoy toca a sol para este día se me ocurrió dibujar a tsunoplet quién está encima de una roca tomando un poco de sol ☀️. (2B Pencil on A5 Paper) I did this one as part of a fictional challenge where every prompt-word of the month was "arse" but made it part of Inktober.

Strue's the detective with the Sherlock Holmes style hat and Dales' a bit of a blood hound. A bit of a loon, but still a bloodhound.

A little pixie surfs down a pile of leaves that are against the trunk of a forest tree. 8.5x11 pen and ink coloring page image.

Ludwig van Beethoven (1770–1827) Beethoven rose at dawn and wasted little time getting down to work. His breakfast was coffee, which he prepared himself with great care—he determined that there should be sixty beans per cup, and he often counted them out one by one for a precise dose. The Paradise WINE Cocktail. I created this using watercolor, acrylic, color pencils, highlight pen, and fine liners.

(Gel Fineliner on A5 Paper) One of the most horrific situations you could ever be in. You're going through the motions and you turn to see that there's no toilet paper left! With no-one to help you, you know you're going to have to make that terrible choice.....Your socks or your underwear!

Inwardly things…

#22 [Hades (the game) 2024] - This would be considered fanart if I was a fan, but I have never played the game. I realize there is no Hades 3, this is just for pretend-fun. Since I don't know the story and characters of the game I decided to make up three of my own. [Sketched & inked everything using an iPad pro & magma software, drawn live, no ai.]

Exercising of the Ex - a tradition of sorts

(Gel Fineliner on A5 Paper) It is finished, even if it doesn't look like it. It reflects those old peanut display cards of the 1970s and 80s which were like a peanut strip-tease as the snacks were bought and more of the image was revealed. It's also a comment on the endless WIPs that some upload on social media which are like a form of "peanuts" in themselves.

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart In a 1782 letter to his sister, he gave a detailed account of these hectic days in Vienna: "My hair is always done by six o’clock in the morning and by seven I am fully dressed. I then compose until nine. From nine to one I give lessons. Then I lunch..." From "Daily Rituals: How Artists Work", edited and with text by Mason Currey.

Another pregnancy drawing; pencil in A5 sketchbook

(Gel Fineliner on A5 Paper) “Wait...Did you just call me Phil? I'm a multi-dimensional higher being, you ignorant little tit! You don't just call someone like me PHIL! I was about to share the fruits of my knowledge with your species, ushering in a new age which would have been a significant step in human evolution, but now you can all PISS RIGHT OFF! You humans deserve to wipe yourselves out!” (It is widely believed that humanity constantly subdues itself with lazy misunderstandings like this.)

The first in the Pregnant series. Pencil, A5 sketchbook

I call this work Lost Koi because I painted it in the 1990s. Gave the original to a friend who was terminally ill and thought I would never see it again. Then I found it on a old computer. I had to work a lot with the image. I hope it loads.

(Gel Fineliner on A5 Paper) A piece for Inktober, but one which references the way some artists self-censor so as not to offend anyone.

There are only a few lovely large pine trees near my home in the Southwest of Western Australia. This little sprig was found on a walk where there was only the one pine tree in amongst the other trees.

Drawing of a banksia nut from the nearby forest in the Southwest of Western Australia.

Created using pencils, fine liners, water color, and acrylic paints. A Ghoulish cheerleader ripped from her life too soon, murdered by jealousy, with the those she thought were her friends torn in anguish over her death, she now takes this form to rid others of their dreams and ambitions.
