Whenever I think of tags and/or labels for people, be it things like ‘gammons’ or ‘snowflakes’ et al, narrowing it down to a single person who represents that group is always running a fool’s errand in my opinion.

Prudent ponder.

A fairly special one for me this week, as today’s post is inspired by what would have been the time of Beltane celebrations. As it is, we celebrated at home in our own little ways, and in the case of myself indulging in my usual habits! Drinking and of course drawing, the usual stuff...

"Contemplation of the Jump" - drawn & colored in Escape Motions Rebelle. My drawings are pretty random, but after I make them I think about them a bit... like... what is that girl in that cave room thinking and why is he going to jump? I should probably know the answers... but I don't.

I know it’s a little early to start thinking about the next decade, but I needed the inspiration...

This is a new character I'm working on for an illustration class. Doing it with a black background makes me think about it a little different.

He sits up in his teacup with his hands wrapped 'round a porg, Thinking up new ways to join forces with the Borg. To eradicate the Rebels by infecting them with spores, And assimilate the hive mind to become one with the Force.

Digital is great -- for composition and color. But for line art? I don't think I can ever give up the fountain pen. This was drawn with a Sailor King of Pen (M) and Sailor 1911L (EF) fountain pens using Pilot Black ink. Yes, sacrilege. Pilot ink in a Sailor. But I have some Kiwa Guro arriving soon!

This comic came out of a conversation I’m having with a friend. We both found it fascinating that so many comedians and creatives come from broken and dark places. Robin Williams said, “I think the saddest people always try their hardest to make people happy because they know what it’s like to feel absolutely worthless and they don’t want anyone else to feel like that.”

I draw circles ALL the time....everywhere. I am not sure why, sometimes I think it would be neat to make a nice piece of art of these.

Mixed media. Acrylic, pencil, digital. This is a piece from the book “Mail Me Art - Medium Without A Message” by @littlechimpsociety. I think it was the second call for entries/book.There are now 4 books filled with awesome art drawn and painted on outsides of envelopes and packages by artists all over the world who then mailed them to the UK totally exposed to the postal service. The original was all analog. I brought this into Procreate and reworked it. I may do more when I get a chance but I’m pretty satisfied with it now.

Three islands filled with people all alone out by the sea, You see, I'd love to join them but there is no room for me. That one guy climbed too high - I think they call him "Clumsy Paul?" Soon there may be room for me... I'm just waiting for his fall.

I think I'm getting the hang of painting florals with gouache. It helped to decide on a palette and pre-mix the colors.

I don't know how the movie ends; I won't see it, considering my country, but all my headcanons are sequels to the movie. I have no idea what happens to Tommy, but I hope my imagination is strong enough to figure out how to save him without breaking canon. Otherwise, this is all AU. The OC's name is Caroline Shelton. She belongs to the middle-upper class; her father is quite wealthy, so she knew no hardship much. But she is eccentric and zealously strives for knowledge, has many hobbies and is skilled in many things because of her pursuits. Basically, all she cared about in life was intellectual development. She had only one friend who could stand her personality and temper, James Holloway. Some time later, he disappeared, and Caroline received his bloodstained watch from an anonymous sender with no explanation, only the mailing address from which the anonymous sent the package. Caroline couldn't think of anything better than to dress up as a man and travel to the town the package came from, introducing herself as James Holloway and gaining fame with her skills. She hopes that if the anonymous hears about an albino man named James Holloway in the town where they might live, they'll contact her again when they hear about her. Her logic is this: this person sent a package containing something important to Jim to her, so they must know something about Jim, her, and their friendship, and if they hear Jim's name used by an albino, they'll understand everything. So she sets out on a dangerous journey, making herself a kind of beacon/signal for the anonymous sender to find them and through them to find Jim or learn what happened to him.

A while back, I jumped into a global property deal, saying folks like me could cash in on hot foreign housing scenes. Real estate - sure, everyone knows it prints money, a big-time industry worldwide. It looked solid at first - they showed me online walkthroughs of places I partly owned, got me pumped. Still, there was this weird vibe nagging me, hard to explain, just wouldn’t quit bugging me inside. I ignored it, though, brushed it off, kept going anyway. One thing I’d say now? Listen to that inner voice - every single time. I kept picturing the steady cash coming in, which blurred how clearly I saw things. At first, they paid me consistent returns, making it feel legit. Over time, though, I poured more money into it. Before long, I tried pulling out bigger amounts - but then the payouts just vanished. The reasons they gave shifted every week, and not long after, they began asking for added charges to fix the withdrawal issues. Still, I’d spent every dollar - put everything I owned into it, thinking it’d be okay. When things went south, I panicked, then remembered a name: {DIGITAL LIGHT SOLUTION}. Found them through some random post while scrolling late at night. Honestly? Didn’t believe they’d help, but they jumped on it fast, scanning stuff I didn't even know existed. Right away, knew these folks weren’t messing around. Used hidden clues online, tracked down where the cash got moved, and then fought to pull it all back into my hands. I'm happy the hard work brought results - my full investment was back in just 72 hours thanks to the team handling my issue. Some girls look cute, sexy or that look of longing when they want you. But Chump...this is her longing face. But its not what you think underneath. She just wants your fruit punch dude. Or just use your soul to summon the dark one.

Halloween is already over, I know...but I really think we move on to the next holiday too fast. >.> That's just me though...
