As a fun way to come up with drawing prompts I've been thinking up rhyming couplets (a la Dr. Suess) with my wife. Particularly pleased with this one! It's going to a friend who loves D&D. Pen and watercolour on paper, 5x7".
This comic came out of a conversation I’m having with a friend. We both found it fascinating that so many comedians and creatives come from broken and dark places. Robin Williams said, “I think the saddest people always try their hardest to make people happy because they know what it’s like to feel absolutely worthless and they don’t want anyone else to feel like that.”
There was a royal lineage in Europe that was so inbred that their jaws started getting really distended and weird. Like Jay Leno, but inbred. (I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt.) Feel free to look up the Hapsburgs. I'll wait. The second picture is a Fiji mermaid and a merman. I think I want a merman tattoo. SMOLDER.
Ink on watercolor paper. I am experimenting with different color combinations. I think the distribution of different sized monsters is acceptable, but i am not quite happy with the colors of them. Suggestions are appreciated!

Annette Hanshaw, look her up. She is wonderful!!! Now, I think some people think I'm tryna be rude doing this whole Joker-esque vibe, PLEASE, I'm not. I like and respect Joker (mainly the Mark Hamill one). The music that Annette Hanshaw sings is one that takes me back to a time where we get that nice old soul of old timey goodness, which is what Mr Mark Hamill's portrayal of the Joker made me think of. So, making an older photo of Annette Hanshaw look like the Joker form DC comics, to me, is a cool thing. Yes, I didn't draw the entire thing, this is just me drawing over the picture. Frog, moon and stars! Another one inspired by @moonchildillustrations and her #moontoberweekends prompt, this one combines two of them.
Fortunately, I had to search for really cute pictures of frogs with their mouths open.

I've been seeing lots of new bird species around my neighbourhood, like robins and magpies!
I like to think this bird is watching me from the sea of uncertainty, and looking at all the things I will create in the future and secretly telling me to go on, without me knowing how they will turn out. And strangely, that is some kind of motivation for me. : .
I saw on the Samantha Bee show that there's an association between vintage cartoons and minstrelsy, and I can't stop thinking about it now. So I drew some mean looking white person mice in retaliation. These are your suburb mice that are complaining that the Whole Foods line is taking too long.
(Gel Fineliner on A5 Paper) A "Twart" is someone who tries far too hard to be an artist. Each carries the metaphorical book: "The ABC Book on How To Be An Artist" Ticking off various points they think will make them such. You can usually tell who they are by the cheesy, inoffensive work they produce and a false, bohemian, facade. Because they think that's what artist are like.

Remember when Billy Shears showed up to replace him? Nah, me neither. I wasn't going to wreck my record to hear them say it either. I know the prompt was warm colors, sadly if I did the jacket in pink or red it would've been George or Ringo. Anyway, a quick but fun sketch. "See the worst thing about doing this, doing something like this, is I think that at first people sort of are a bit suspicious. 'You know, come on, what are you up to?'"
