I'm on a role so I might as well complete the Evangelists. :) This is St. Mark the gospel writer of yeah, you guessed it, Mark. He's on his symbolic Lion, besides the Regal symbolism I always thought the Lion was also because there are more exorcisms in Mark than any other Gospel (When ya think Lions ya think of battles and for him spiritual ones). But yeah, He's all about Christ the King n stuff, you know how they say that the Lion is the King of the Jungle, well Big J.C. is King of the Universe! :P
I'm finally back home (I arrived on the 17th) even though it was stressful,I'm finally here after staying almost half a year abroad (i drew this on the plane lol)
I drew him again (even though he's hard to draw) however I had fun.i like the relaxed look on his face which is rather odd since I usually draw him stony faced.
Different takes on the Celtic Triskele, with the three spiraling arms, thought to be a representation of the three Celtic worlds; the spiritual world, the present world and the celestial world. Another is to be believed that it represents the maiden, the mother and the crone. So to say there are many variations.
This is one of the first digital art peices I have done that I actually like. I have never attempted to draw the hair in braids so my digital art isn't always bad. On December 2017, after my frineds and I exhanged gifts, we thought "why don't we do it next year?? Valentine's Day!" So in January 2018, we got our picks and our theme was "Something Effort" since it's important in every relationship. Since then I started making this, every day I would add some details. I was lucky to know that the one I picked likes Game of Thrones so there. Made with air dry clay then painted with acrylic paint.
We have been living in a hotel since 9/2/2016 and all my art stuff is in storage. I got some pencils and this sketch book from the dollar store. I thought my art days were over. Maybe they are. Enjoy.
