Day 1: Paloma! My accidental quarantine kind of cocktail! I love grapefruit and I usually use it in a DIY Gatorade but quarantine necessity has found me adding some "cleaning" vodka. (I don't normally drink vodka but I keep some around for natural cleaning).
I bought these grave-etcher brushes from @retrosupply awhile ago and finally tested them out. Digging it! Also practiced working in illustrator with the iPad mirrored. A little buggy and rough for someone who has only worked with a mouse.
There's something so satisfying in painting things from around my apartment. (Trying out jelly gouache, it's pretty awesome!)

I've been experimenting with colour pallets and line width. Also trying to do LESS - my natural tendency is to add everything so cutting back is quite hard, but I think works better.
Only took like 2 hours. Honestly, this is the hardest I have EVER worked on a digital piece. Surprised I even got this finished in one sitting because I have been pretty nauseous today. @Hirsch I hope I didn't mess up qwq. By the way, are we friends? Sorry if I seem weird for a stranger but I just need a quarantine buddy. It's ok if we aren't, I understand, I'm only a random kid on a platform of other strange people, so it's alright indeed. (P.S. I'm in a super good mood today because I got a new Furby :3 I'm so weird)
I am doing a 30 day face improvement challenge that I work on a face everyday for 30 days this is my first one and hopefully by the time I uploads again I will have improved lots and lots but only time will tell see you soon
Nitescape. The mysterious going city across the great ocean, far away from Nornwan and far forgotten, but they have not forgotten. They still have hints of the old world in their dome of cyber charged pessimism. It's a fairy! Lol, well a Pink Fairy Armadillo. This is extremetly rare and the smallest armadillo in the world. They live in Argentina. I made mine in kind of a cartoonish way but it isn't too far off on how they actually look. Huge front claws for swimming through sand and it's furry and whatnot. If this were a Pokemon it would be a Ground/Fairy type of course. lol I made the sparkles n stuff to show how it's fairy type. haha anyways :P
Happy to sharing with us my final plate of Dwarf Jay (Cyanolyca nanus), there are a few illustration for this taxa that is endemic to Mexico. Dwarf jay show patterns of occupancy consistent with habitat specialists. Like raccons, Dwarf Jay have a black mask and is predominantly blue. Technic: hybrid media (graphite, colored pencils and SketchBook Pro).
