"English as She is Spoke" is a delightful example of incompetence and bad judgement. Jose da Fonseca and Pedro Carolina set out to write a Portuguese-English phrasebook. The only problem was that they didn't speak any English. They did know some French and armed with French-English phrasebook, dictionaries and enthusiasm they brought forth this phrasebook. I really,really hate having an art block because most of the times you have several drawing ideas,only to have trouble choosing one and not drawing anything at all!The strawberry one has no face because it was either ripped out or eaten.I originally wanted to draw four Gucci logos with different fruits,but since having an art block ruined it,I made this.I might take a break from drawing for,I don't know,10,000 years or so.
Spent a little time over the Thanksgiving holiday trying out Dr.Ph. Martin's colored inks! I had a little trouble mixing the yellows but for the most part they were a joy to work with. Reference from Unsplash.
Made with pen, ink pencil and gel pen. Started off as a quick sketch to loosen the cobwebs but turned into a piece that I dived into and developed more of my own style.
This is my first post, so I'll keep things pretty basic. "Jester" is his name, but I like to refer to him as "The Ringmaster". He's my own creation, but he's inspired by the funtime animatronics from FNaF. This is also a stylized take on him. I'll post what he really looks like soon. He's comepletely sentient, and runs a pizzaria. There are shorter animatronics in the pizzaria, which he created, with the purpose to perform and entertain the people who come there. The shorter animatronics are not sentient, or possesed. At least, not yet. I'll also post pictures of these animatronics one day, hopefully in the next two days. I haven't really fleshed out what kind of story I'll make for him, but I'll use him eventually. Drawn with FireAlpaca.
