One of my favourit nature's creations: Trees

As evident from it's name, I have made a lake and autmny trees surrounding it....

It's hot. No air in school, so we took to the shade and drew trees. I drew students drawing trees.

I find backgrounds in paintings challenging so I deliberately tried to make a more complex background with this one. I sometimes have difficulty deciding when to finish and in this case maybe I overworked the background a bit too much. Still, I feel I learned a lot from the process.

The local park/working farm has some amazing old trees - nature is a work of art :)

Found a fun canvas so I decided to do a fun little tree frog.

This is the second oil painting I have ever made, and the first time I have attempted to create mountains, trees and bushes. I used just 3 colours for this: Raw Umber, Phthalo Blue and Titanium White. I learned a lot and had tonnes of fun at the same time.

This is my first full landscape project that I painted for a skillshare course. It was frustrating at times but I really enjoyed working through the multiple steps of this painting. I wanted to see what I could do it I pushed myself and I am happy with the final painting. I need to focus some more study on trees in the future, I like how the foreground tree came out, the forest edge was much more difficult. Oops, I painted the wrong tree at the park. A lot was happening! I meant to paint the other rainbow cloud-like tree.
