The local park/working farm has some amazing old trees - nature is a work of art :)

It's hot. No air in school, so we took to the shade and drew trees. I drew students drawing trees.

Found a fun canvas so I decided to do a fun little tree frog.

This is the second oil painting I have ever made, and the first time I have attempted to create mountains, trees and bushes. I used just 3 colours for this: Raw Umber, Phthalo Blue and Titanium White. I learned a lot and had tonnes of fun at the same time.

This is my first full landscape project that I painted for a skillshare course. It was frustrating at times but I really enjoyed working through the multiple steps of this painting. I wanted to see what I could do it I pushed myself and I am happy with the final painting. I need to focus some more study on trees in the future, I like how the foreground tree came out, the forest edge was much more difficult. I’ve been at it again with those tattoo markers from hobby lobby! Woohoo!!

The photo is bit out of date and the only thing been change is sone of trees had been cut down.

Another watercolor I made from observation. This is a quiet place near my father's home, where I use to go with my friends when I was a child. I am painting those in a 5x8 very convenient moleskin watercolor book. I previously eyeballed the dimensions of this book at 4x6 when I had no ruler to verify but I was slightly wrong. Now the info is exact. :)

At a street corner, I painted a magnificent Bougainvillea flame.
